Watch: Justin Timberlake Performs ‘Let The Groove Get In’ On ‘Fallon’

Published: Thursday 14th Mar 2013 by Sam

Justin Timberlake‘s new album ‘The 20/20 Experience’ isn’t even in stores yet, but that hasn’t stopped ‘Let The Groove In’ from quickly becoming a fan favourite.

A hot-pot of sounds, the track tackles “world music” with a contemporary flare – and will easily garner play in the club, on radio, and even at your local Salsa class! Infectious horns and cowbells leave the song ringing in one’s ear, while the catchy hook seals the deal. Timberlake chants “Are you comfortable (right there, right there). Let the groove get in!” One listen to this and you quite literally don’t have a choice. For us, it’s the best track on the ‘Experience’ Hands down.

We’re sure the masses will be echoing the same following JT’s performance of the track a few hours ago on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.

Backed by his band The Tennessee Kids along with The Roots, the 32-year-old ensured the third night of his week-long residency was one to remember.

Peep the performance below, where hilarious skits also await…

Granted Timberlake literally took a minute to get into the ‘Groove’, when he did the results were splendid. Solid performance.

    ISN’T THIS A BRITISH BLOG?

Why is that I, and other people who reside in the U.K, cannot watch these videos – that we’d love to see?

    FOR F*** SAKES!!!

Why is/does everything have to be ‘Americanized’ with you @Sam? Then again, Tuwella, SAM’S COUSIN did tell me how desperate you were to break into the American market? @TGJ READERS… – did you know almost 3/4 of TGJ’s staff are American and they hardly ever use their original BRITISH headquarters.

    KMT.

    UGH.

    YAWN>>>>>>>

I’m trying SO hard to not make this about race… But I CANNOT with this “White Boy” trying so hard to have Soul. It just doesn’t come natural to him. IT TRULY DOES NOT.

Give me ‘Robin Thicke, Teena Marie (R.I.P), Lisa Stansfield, Donna Lewis, Amy Winehouse (R.I.P), Vicky Yole, Michael McDonald, Micheal Bolton etc…’

    ^REAL WHITE SINGERS WITH SOUL!!!

    JUST SAYING.

The song has the potential to be an awesome hit, but watch him release a crappy video for it.

  17. ladylady March 14, 2013

This album shows maturity and it is fantastic. My only issue is that he sounds soooooooo much like Robin Thicke. Justin is just pummeling that sounds so now what is Robin going to do? What a f****** conundrum…. lol.

I’ve had an overdose of him this week, what a lovely way to die.

‘Let The Groove In’reminds me of Madonna’s version of La Isla Bonita at the sticky and sweet tour, f****** amazing.
