I understand where Nicki is going with this & K-mart. Times are hard ladies & gentalment, & for most people in America affordable clothes are very important. Many households live off of a limited income ( or are a working class family), so going too places like Macy’s to buy an $80.00 sweater isn’t always in the cards. An alternative place like K-mart offers reasonable or understandable prices for clothing, meaning that the $80.00 that you would of spent at maceys for a single sweater could used too get a sweater + other pecies at K-mart. Nicki comes form 2 immigrant parent’s who lived from check to check, so her providing affordable clothes is understandable.
I was raised by a single mother who worked 2 jobs (day & night) to support me & two other siblings, & I remember how my mother had to stretch her pennies too make things happen.
I’m not embarrassed to say that many of the clothes I wore as child weren’t name brand or expensive, but they were all my mother could afford. So call Nicki whatever you want, but I understand & love her partnership with K-mart.
