The good people of Philadelphia were the latest to witness Rihanna‘s ‘Diamonds’ stage outing last night, marking her first audience since announcing she was suffering from laryngitis.
We wish we could say that they got their money’s worth and witnessed a live show worthy of the singer’s name, but that dear friends….would be a low down dirty lie.

If you want to bring other legends, Madonna >>> Mariah Carey (and other female legends) and that’s the fact. Madonna is the most impactful female solo artist of all time. All pop girls want to be Madonna. Mariah has made a great impact too, but she doesn’t have any culture impact, her impact is only in music while Madonna’s is everywhere. Madonna has sold more records, she is million times bigger touring act than Mariah, has more iconic performances (I am not talking about vocal ability, ofc, because Mimi can eat Madonna when it comes to that). But I appreciate Madonna and Mariah more than Whitney Houston. Madonna/Mariah are artists, Whitney was just a singer. Gurl, you could’ve saved yourself all that time. I wasn’t talking about Mariah’s impact amongst the legends or Madonna, I was talking about how Mariah gets dragged into TGJ more than the other legends.
You don’t need to tell me about Madonna, I stan for her so I know all I need to know.
Madonna cannot be compared to any female artist in terms of impact, she can only be compared to males like MJ, Elvis, Beatles, etc… (says a lot about her).
Madonna’s, Janet’s, Tina’s, etc impact is more evident because it’s in the form of “art and entertainment” while Mariah’s, Whitney’s, and Aretha’s impact is more evident to the “ears” if you get my drift.
Mariah’s impact on pop culture and pop format (other than Fantasy remix and her obvious vocal impact) is almost none existent.

One hell of singer at that. I’m gonna tell you something and I hope you consider this with full heart. Although Nippy never produced, wrote, or had any iconic videos, her only talent wasn’t just “singing” it was interpreting and shaping any song to fit her. Whitney’s best talent imo wasn’t her one of the kind voice, it was her ability to turn any corny song into anything she wanted. Her interpretation of “Star Spangled banner” is STILL imitated to this day, etc etc.
Although its hard for some people to see, her ability to interpret song and improvise on the spot is what makes her a true musician. Mariah writes her songs and produces them yet Whitey is able to produce more emotion without having that intimate connection to that song….. I hope you see what I’m saying. Whitney’s interpretation >>>>>>> anyone else’s (maybe with the exception of Stevie Wonder).

I only stuck around for the people I liked but everyone seems to be different nowadays.
I go to this other site and they reference this site to make fun of it and it’s sad because I doubt that was the intention and effort behind Sam (as much as I don’t like him).
