However, towards the end of her conversation with its hosts, she revealed that she had collaborated with ‘Schoolin’ Life’ vocalist Beyonce and ‘Monster’ singer Lady GaGa, following months of speculation surrounding a cut featuring all three entertainers.
On the show, she shared:
‘I like working by myself, not to say I don’t like collaborating with other people but like- I never know what to do. I can’t really like absorb the vibe or I can- you know- I’m lying, because I’ve collabed with Lady GaGa, Beyonce & Kanye West’.
While it’s unclear as to where this collaboration (or collaborations) will feature, their confirmation does go a long way in solidifying Banks’ status as one of the industry’s most respected newbies.
Of course, while her run ins with almost everybody have seen her labelled a ‘livewire’ (for want of a politer word), the best thing about Azealia‘s ascent to the top is that it comes on the back of good material, stellar performances and well executed music videos.

Okay…. So this whole Hive vs. Barbz s*** needs to stop. I don’t even like the fact that the Hive and the Navy feel the need to go at it. But at the end of the day, I don’t really respect Rihanna’s artistry nor do I think that she’s a good performer… so yeah. I do however, like Nicki and know that she is good at what she does. No, not that fake electro-pop crap but rap. Nicki can be really socially aware and conscious when she chooses to be. I respect that. I have nothing but mad respect Beyonce because she has definitely mastered her craft. No, she is not the best vocalist but she is an exceptional one. As for performing, well Beyonce is one of/if not the best overall performers of our generation. Nicki loves Beyonce and vice versa. Its only right for the Hive and the Barbz to be civil.
