In a handwritten note to his army of loyal fans, the 26-year-old announced new single ‘Somebody Else’ featuring the Young Money madam. Even more of a surprise is that the release of the Polow Da Don produced cut is around the corner (May 21st)….

Yes, yes, and yes! Ever since he burst onto the scene with ‘Just A Friend’ ten years ago, Mario has established himself as one of male R&B’s brightest prospects – a fact he drove home and then some with his stellar ‘Go!’ album. And while its follow-up ‘DNA’ saw him veer off-track sonically, it did little to dilute the light that is his talent.
It goes without saying, then, that we can’t wait to hear this. The Nicki feature is the commercial icing on the cake. Roll on next week!
