Im a fan of BOTH ladies..But i think Beyonce’s reign has just ended with time itself..She is already a legend and she deserves it..but i think her wow factor is gone and she is at her peak..she will continue to entertain the masses..Kelly Rowland is exactly where she needs to be..at the brink of stardom..if enough effort is put into this album (which i can see she has already put a great deal) Kelly Rowland will FINALLY be recognized and given the props she DESERVES for her contribution to the industry
I kind of agree with what you said and I know others will be mad. I just feel like you expressed it perfectly. I love Beyonce and I also love Kelly Rowland because I’ve been rocking with them since day one in DC3. With Beyonce, I’m still highly entertained but I don’t always feel as wowed anymore because I already know what she is going to do on stage…not to take away from the fact that she IS the best performer of our generation hands down. With Kelly, it’s like amazing to see her grow and come into her own, and I think that’s what’s driving her right now. Beyonce did the same thingbecause if you watch some of her earlier performances with DC3 to where she is now, they don’t even compare. Now it’s Kelly’s turn. How many people can we speak of in terms of longevity and relevance like we can of Beyonce and Kelly in this day of age? #theyaredope
I love Bey but I really wish ppl will stop saying she is a legend! Legends are entertainers/stars who music, art, fashion, modeling whatever it is that they are great at is still impacting the lives of upcoming stars years and years later. Someone who was known to be a trendsetter and many duplicate their work forever. Bey is a big duplicator herself. She is so far from that! She is an icon of this generation though bcuz she is really all we have that been around for awhile… I think she will go down like Diana Ross. Her music doesn’t stand the test of time… just my opinion… she will be known mostly for single ladies.
Beyonce is a young legend. Shes highly respected as a performer and has had big impact on pop culture. I look at this way, in 10 years time aint nobody gonna care about the stuff shes stolen she will still be seen as a legend for her name alone. People want to sing like Beyonce, dance like Beyonce and quote Beyonce as their inspiration already.
