Now if Mrs. Carter would release the damn song, or any song for that matter, she’d be good! I love the song and if she had a decent management team it would be SMASHING ON THE CHARTS.

    • Mya May 25, 2013

Beyonce is NOT a good manager. She has so much on her plate.

      • PoItUp May 25, 2013

        You got THAT right.

    • IRISYU77 May 25, 2013

Standing On The Sun needs to be the first single, it’s so perfect for the summer. It screams big hit its easy to sing along too, great pop record.

    • YouDoRealize… May 25, 2013

I agree. She needs a manager. No manager would allow all these opportunities to go by and not release anything. I will say this, if her new album flops it will be solely her fault.

      • therealjaylee May 25, 2013

        DAMN RIGHT!!!

  4. BeyWhoUWanna May 25, 2013

    When will your fave.

  5. MCThePlaceToBe May 25, 2013

Beyonce needs to fire whoever is managing her right now because it’s so embarrassing to see Rihanna snatch her wig like this.

    • Mya May 25, 2013

      Beyonce is her own manager.

    • . : : h 2 o : : . May 25, 2013

She’s already sold more than 2X Rihanna’s albums lol. And I don’t see what “snatching” you’re talking about, Rihanna’s audiences =/= Beyonce’s audiences. One of them makes music for young people, the other one is for grown people and adults. Even their major music markets, the only place where Rihanna sells more albums than Beyonce is Western European countries like the UK and Ireland.

So calm your saggy titties down, stuff a big black d*** down that dry throat of yours, and shut the f*** up.

    • Teah May 25, 2013

No, its embarrassing when an artist with NO NEW MATERIAL *cough cough Beyonce* can sell out a World Tour, in a matter of minutes. And an artist with several hits and a new album like Rihanna , still isn’t even capable of doing that . Now that’s embarrassing and really the epitome of “Wig Snatching” SMDH.

  6. The Great Lacefronce. May 25, 2013

Smash hit? This Hot Shite will FLOP., THIEF once knew grown flop would flop

    • The Great Lacefronce May 25, 2013

Stay mad! Millions of people have viewed the live version of Grown Woman on Youtube and it hasn’t even officially been released! When will you fav? Wanna look at a flop…. look in the mirror boooo!

      • GOLDEN LIFE May 25, 2013

So views = a hit? Byeeee! Grown Woman WOULD flop. That’s exactly why she didn’t release it as a single. 😆

      • The Great Lacefronce May 25, 2013

Yessir it does! Who said she isn’t going to release it as a single??? LOL flop? You probably still on yo feet dancing… its ok… i am too! 🙂

      • Jas May 25, 2013

@Golden Life “So views = hit?”. Obviously genius. Evidently it does have the potential to be smash hit. Because if that wasn’t the case then I’m pretty of sure that all of these people would not be making Song Covers of a damn commercial better yet a damn snippet . I can’t…

      • GOLDEN LIFE May 25, 2013

Run The World had millions of views too oop.

      • Jas May 25, 2013

Run The World wasn’t a snippet oop.

      • GOLDEN LIFE May 25, 2013

And? It still had millions of views. I asked if views = hits, and yall said YES! Thanks for proving my point. Nexxxt!

      • Jas May 25, 2013

What the f*** does a released song having millions of views have to do with a song snippet, that isn’t even a whole 2:00 minutes long in lengt? Nothing! I said that it could be a hit because it was a snippet from a damn commercial. Yet and still it has millions of views. Thanks for proving my point. Because your still remains invalid(:

  7. ItsCheryl2bh May 25, 2013

I really think her new manager secretly works for Rihanna 2bh.

  8. WUUURRR May 25, 2013

This album is going to be a major hit! Grown Woman is like nothing else you hear on the radio and Standing One The Sun is just perfection! GO BEY!!!!

Navy… Leave the Hive and Beyonce alone! Ya’ll are always checking for them….Getcho lives and go to a Rihanna concert… last time I checked there were plenty of tickets left! 🙂

    • lilmamastan May 25, 2013

    • BriskIceTea May 25, 2013

      Same with Beyoncé!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  9. GOLDEN LIFE May 25, 2013

    This is SO IRRELEVANT!

Hit me back whenever she releases a SINGLE. I mean YouTube covers? Who really cares?????

    • Lana Del Slay May 25, 2013

You do. That’s why you came here.

      • GOLDEN LIFE May 25, 2013

I came to COMMENT on an IRRELEVANT headline. Now SWERVE ya b****.

    • The Great Lacefronce May 25, 2013

That’s why you commented! FAIL! You still dancing?

      • GOLDEN LIFE May 25, 2013

B**** you can SWERVE just like your Lana Del Flop friend. oops yall are probably the same w****!

      • The Great Lacefronce May 25, 2013

Now I’m a b****!? LOL Don’t be mad because the queen is winning and your ass is still dancing!

  10. White girl mob 2.0 May 25, 2013

I don’t got time for this. Holla at me when she stops eating KFC chicken & drinking KOOL-AID. Cause beyonce is just wasting my f****** time with her n!gger s*** she keeps doing. Plus her daughter hair is always nappy as hell like a poor black person

    • The Great Lacefronce May 25, 2013

Obviously you do if you commented! Nice try white girl!

      • White girl mob 2.0 May 25, 2013

Shut the f*** up! You chicken eating N!gger

      • The Great Lacefronce May 25, 2013

LOL don’t be mad because the Queen is winning! So ignorant I tell you…. I was telling the truth was I not??? Okay then…

  11. JanetXone May 25, 2013

i want to ask a serious questions here. Do you think Bey wants to retire?

    • 1D>>>>YourLife May 25, 2013

No, I just think she doesn’t know what she wants.

    • Lolz May 25, 2013

I think she deffo wants to have more babies in the near future ans settle down. Shes really valuing family now I think.

  12. Ammie Leann May 25, 2013

Yes sure, she is amazing, the greatest, the next MJ, hype hype hype. But then you look at her sales and is like Wait a sec, is that it?. Dangerously in Love 2003 ONLY 4x platinum in USA, her best selling album there. If she is a legend already, why she never had diamond sales. Truth is bey peaked, and it was a ridiculous peak compared to MJ, Madonna, Britney, Mariah, etc.

    • The Great Lacefronce May 25, 2013

      Diamond sales in Brazil… for I Am…..

    • . : : h 2 o : : . May 25, 2013

She never claimed to be a legend lol, or even a legend.. Even though she’s treated as one, she has 3 legend WMAs, 17 Grammys, a Billboard Millennium award, etc..

And her biggest album in the states is TROTW (8x platinum), not DIL, unless you’re talking about her solo albums.

      • . : : h 2 o : : . May 25, 2013

        or even an icon*

      • CANDI May 25, 2013

U DUMB B****! OF COURSE THEY WERE TALKING ABOUT SOLO ALBUMS STUPID!!!! IN THAT CASE, THAT’S KELLY’S LE TOYA’S AND LATAVIA’S BIGGEST SELLING ALBUM IN THE US, NOT JUST YOUR THIEVING QUEEN! DAMN, EVEN HER BROKE FANS TRY TO TAKE FROM OTHERS IN THE GROUP..SMMFH!!!!

      • . : : h 2 o : : . May 25, 2013

Here we go with CAPS and meltdowns . . .

Its was her band, she sang 3/4 their music, they were nothing but featured artists. So if sales add up to anyone’s solo total, it should Beyonce.

        Billboard agree with me too.

      • Jas May 25, 2013

@Candi Girl bye, No shade to any of the other band members but the fact of the matter is Beyonce WAS Destiny’s Child. Why? Because not only was she the lead, she stood out from the rest. I know I might be wrong or rude for saying this but we all know that Beyonce was the “Micheal Jackson” or the the “Diana Ross” of that group. That still doesn’t discredit any of the other girls as artist because they are all amazing. But in regards to Destiny’s Child it is the truth. Beyonce was way more marketable. And the fact that she had a substantial amount of talent to back her s*** up was merely a bonus. Just saying

      • . : : h 2 o : : . May 25, 2013

        Exactly @ Jas

      • AMMIE LEANN May 25, 2013

So sad, not even with destiny’s child a Diamond album in USA, ALL HYPE!!!!!!!!!! I know it hurts.

      • Ti$ May 25, 2013

The fact that Rihanna can’t even push 300k in the first week after 8 years in the game is what hurts. Ouch! lmfao.

  13. White girl mob 2.0 May 25, 2013

I can’t stand when beyonce gets her Stan base hype up, they acting like she gonna give them free watermelons. Beyhives need to chill, relax, stop acting like n!ggers who ain’t ate chicken in days after hot s**.

Beyhives are as ghetto as they come. Some of them have nappy hair, they don’t take a bath, they just f****** ghetto! Chill the f*** out you monkeys

    • The Great Lacefronce May 25, 2013

IGNORANCE!!! You have no idea how illiterate and stupid you sound right now! You make yourself sound and look like a fool!

      • White girl mob 2.0 May 25, 2013

It’s the truth! The beyhives act like N!ggers when ever beyonce drops a single.

Beyhives are so mean they even jump in kreayshawn mentions when her album did not sell good. They called her a white cracker. So now I’m returning the favor they are nappy headed n!ggers

      • The Great Lacefronce May 25, 2013

Two wrongs don’t make a right! What your doing/saying is rude and very offensive! Get a life!

  14. Lolz May 25, 2013

This song would be a hit if released. It has great crossover appeal.

  15. White girl mob 2.0 May 25, 2013

Ya should see the way beyhives act when beyonce drops singles. They go on twitter acting crazy going HAM! Acting like they just came out a Compton KFC with free chicken, they are f****** loud, disrespectful, 2 face ass Stan base. Do ya see some of her Stan base doing covers for beyonce song? They all look dirty like they ain’t take a hot bath since 4 album flop right in front of THIER eyes.

    • The Great Lacefronce May 25, 2013

IGNORANCE!!! You have no idea how illiterate and stupid you sound right now! You make yourself sound and look like a fool!!!!!

  16. lilmamastan May 25, 2013

Lil mama should do a song with beyonce

  17. rihking May 25, 2013

Smash hit? I cannot. They had the nerve to call this flop garbage a smash hit…And deep down I’m starting to think the hives know she wants and needs to retire.

    • keeeeeeee May 25, 2013

      Garbage…Pour It Up is garbage!

      • rihking May 25, 2013

That garbage sold more than one million copies in the United States

      • . : : h 2 o : : . May 25, 2013

It still won’t change the fact that it’s garbage, and boring as f*** TO @ keeeeeeee and lots of others, me included.

      • keeeeeeee May 25, 2013

And what is a million copies? LOL 10 years from now it will not be remembered like Love On Top… Single Ladies…. Crazy in Love…. Irreplaceable! It’s true… and no I’m not a bey stan honestly…. just stating facts!! Pour it up is forgettable!

      • . : : h 2 o : : . May 25, 2013

^^ Most of Rihanna’s music is forgettable.

      • GOLDEN LIFE May 25, 2013

Like Beyonce’s s*** is timeless! I can’t remember half of her garbage ass singles.

      • Ti$ May 25, 2013

I’ll tell you what’s not timeless. Rihanna and her microwave singles that’s what.

    • Teah May 25, 2013

Retire? If anyone needs to retire its Rihanna. Deep down inside I think that the Navy knows that Rihanna needs a much needed break or at least a half decent vocal coach…Because the b**** can’t put on a good performance to save her life. Which is ridiculous because she hasn’t even been in the industry that long. And you want to talk about garbage? Have you not listened to Pour It Up? If that fuckery isn’t garbage then idk what is. The AUDACITY!!!

  18. C.J. May 25, 2013

I love Bey… but this is really frustrating to sit and watch every opportunity just go by and still no new music being released. She’s done the superbowl… nothing. Inauguration… nothing. Crazy H&M ad campaign… nothing. Only thing that’s left is the second coming, and then it won’t even matter anymore. -______-

    • THE GREAT LACEFRONCE. May 25, 2013

What do you expect from a dumb h** who didn’t graduate high school? She thought she could manage herself trying to prove a point to the public but she’s doing a HORRIBLE job. Look at all the missed opportunities.Building all that hype for what???????????????????????? QUEEN RIH WOULD NEVA! Look at the Queens singles slaying with no promo! (love song&piu)

      WHEN THIEFONCE??????? 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂

      • . : : h 2 o : : . May 25, 2013

Good for you, your better promote your “queen”s singles so that somebody might give a f***.

      • The Great Lacefronce May 25, 2013

The truth is my queen is sooooo forgettable! None of her songs are revolutionary…… she doesn’t have one stand out song… they all sound the same! Beyonce has plenty of songs that will be remembered years from now but Rihanna… no way! Single Ladies…. Crazy in Love… Love On Top are on constant rotation here in the US! Did I mention my Queens tour isn’t sold out yet and Beyonce’s is with no new album!? Yess my queen does stadiums but her tickets are cheap as hell where as Beyonce is sold out on her 1,000 seats in the Bey stage! My queen never could! Beyonce believes in quality over quantity…. she may not have as many hits a Rihanna… but she the one’s that she does will be remembered for years to come… i couldn’t say the same for my queen…… tear! They Beyonce reign just wont let up!

        Beyonce = QUALITY
        Rihanna = Quantity

      • . : : h 2 o : : . May 25, 2013

^^^ Add to that, your fav is a singles artist, and hasn’t topped 10M in the states or 30M worldwide after 7 tries, whereas Beyonce has sold 30M in the states (acc. to Billboard) and and 65M worldwide.

That’s one of tens of things at which Beyonce beats your fav.

      • Likica May 25, 2013

Your fav solo career consists of 25-35% albums and the rest are singles, right? Does that make her a singles artist as well? O.o
Not to mention the fact that she milks her albums to death in order to get them sales. Million videos, huge promo. Out of 65 (actually it is 60) million albums her solo sales are 25, right? So other 35 million come from a girl group whose albums were released in late 1999s/early 2000s when everyone could sell easily 10 million but nowadays she fails to do 3 million when music market declined and it is almost dead? O.o

      • Lolz May 25, 2013

Milks her album to death? No its called making the most of them and not trashing them after a year.

      • Lolz May 25, 2013

And Beyonce has sold over 27 million now your numbers are out of date.

      • Likica May 25, 2013

Milking yes. She releases more than 5 singles/videos per album. Rihanna does it now as well, but during MOTS/AGLM she did 2/4singles with low budget.

Well, according to Mediatraffic (That most of Beyhive members use when they speak about Rihanna album sales) Bey has sold 24 900 000 albums and Rihanna did
28 300 000 albums. If they deflate Bey sales, then they do for every other artist. Accroding to them Unapologetic did 1.6 million in 2012 while it did 2.3 million on IPFI list in 5 weeks of 2012. Rihanna must be over 30 million albums then ^^

      • Lolz May 25, 2013

Id rather she did that so you can remember the album collectively than push out three singes, forget about them and move onto to the next album in a matter of months. If anyone’s milking here its Rihanna. Because we all know you get more money out of albums. And like I said, I don’t use media traffic.

True, they are very talented. Glad Rihanna has inspired them to pursue their dreams.

    • Jas May 25, 2013

You don’t get it do you smdh? People covering these Rihanna songs aren’t special. However, the fact that a lot of people are covering a damn SNIPPET is extremely commendable *face hits palm*. Relax lmfao.

      • Lovebird May 25, 2013

The people covering Rihanna’s song are talented. They are “not special” to you because they are covering Rihanna’s songs. Plus their presentation seems more put together than those “face camera and record” people up in this post.

      • Lou May 25, 2013

@Lovebird that’s nice. Now put up all the talented people covering songs like If I were a Boy, Listen, Halo, Love on Top etc. Theyre just as talented.

      • Jas May 25, 2013

@Lovebird I never said that the individuals singing the songs weren’t special or talented. As a matter of fact, a lot of them sound just as good, if not better than Rihanna. I was simply stating the fact that them covering Rihanna’s “Russian Roulette”, for example, was not as commendable as people covering “Standing On The Sun” being that it hasn’t even been released and is merely a snippet. Which is why I felt like you posting those Rihanna videos were pointless and not even relevant to the argument at hand.

      • Lovebird May 25, 2013

It is relevant because this post is about “cover artists”. I posted some cover artists and you got b*** hurt simply because they are covering some of Rihanna’s songs.

How is it different covering a released song and an unreleased song in the age of the internet?

      • Jas May 25, 2013

Actual no its not. Age of internet or not its different because Standing On The Sun is a snippet from a damn commercial. As opposed to a released song like Russian Roulette. I was simply saying that the fact that people are covering a 1 minute, and some odd seconds, song snippet was more impressive than someone covering a full length song.

When you said that we would never see @HoneyChildPlease on this site again I was relieved. But then I remembered how “beyond ridiculous and childish” you were.

Hun, I never said that I knew you. I was just stating that from what I’ve observed you seem like a very contradictory, hateful and negatively biased person. And just a “gossip blog” ? Girl you better swerve. If that’s all it is to you, then you wouldn’t have had some childish temper tantrum about how ridiculous the Hive are, how much you hate Beyonce, think she’s a flop b****, and yada yada yada. I don’t even comment on this site that much and know that you spend a lot of your valuable time talking about Beyonce. Oh, and its cool if you don’t wanna wipe your ass..most crazy people don’t. God bless you though hun.

      • Te$$a:) May 25, 2013

@ HoneyChildPlease I make no sense? Hun, you make no sense lmfao. And there’s no need to lie. Part of the reason why you never reply to my comments has nothing to do withyou “not giving a f*** about me”. But has largely to do with the simply fact that I hardly every comment. And how do I know that you comment on Beyonce’s post??? The operative question is who doesn’t know that you comment on Beyonce’s post. You literally stalk her damn life lol. Your TGJ famous and I know that that remark may flatter you. But trust me, its not in a good way.

But by all means continue to “gossip”, as you so eloquently put it, about Beyonce. If constantly talking about someone you despise is what makes you happy then go for it. Its your prerogative lmfao. At the end of the day, not only are you a walking contradiction, its hard to take anything that you have to say into consideration because your’re so bias and irrational. #Poor Dat.

Beyonce stans are stupid. So Rihanna has forgettable music and Beyonce’s is timeless? Really? Okay. Well numbers don’t lie, how many top 5, 10s, 20s, 40s and number 1 singles do Rihanna have? then compare that to Beyonce. 2. If Rihanna didn’t have any timeless music then why do her old songs chart and are still getting air play? Why do they sometimes show it on BET? MTV? Why do they play it on PRimetime tv shows like Greys anatomy even have it on their soundtracks? You guys are just biased and don’t like the chick, thats why you compare Beyonce to her because shes the only black chick that is competition and you know what. She is surpassing Beyonce now with fame a, music and marketability. Beyonce will always be known as a great but Rihanna will always be the bigger more successful artist. Done.

    • HoneychildPlease May 25, 2013

This has TRUTH written all over it…No lies found here!

    • Lou May 25, 2013

Numbers do not always equal timelessness. Look at call me maybe and Gnagham style boo. Beyoncés songs like Crazy in Love are bigger than a lot of Rihanna songs besides Umbrella that have sold more so miss me with that please. Crazy in Love is still charting in some countries after 10 years. And what does success equal, because Beyoncé has ventured into various avenues Rihanna could never do and achieved things Rihanna hasn’t just like Rihanna has achieved things Beyoncé hasn’t. Beyoncé is also recognised as one of if not the best performers of her generation so I wouldn’t say Rihanna is more successful just because shes achieves in more in singles.

    • . : : h 2 o : : . May 25, 2013

I just want to know, how the hell is Rihanna more successful?

      Could you explain please?

This’s a list of albums with Beyonce as the lead singer on them :

      * Destiny’s Child — platinum
      * The Writing’s on the Wall — 8x platinum
      * Survivor — 4x platinum
      * 8 Days of Christmas — gold
      * Dangerously in Love — 4x platinum
      * Destiny Fulfilled — 3x platinum
      * #1’s — platinum
      * B’Day — 3x platinum
      * I Am… Sasha Fierce — 3x platinum
      * 4 — platinum

Total CD albums sold in the states : 30 million according to Billboard.

Worldwide : At least 60-65 million, not including shipments or digital sales.

Did Rihanna ever make it close to that? Does Rihanna even have any 2x platinum albums but GGGB? Or any 10M albums? Has Rihanna topped 30M worldwide after 7 releases?

Yes, Rihanna is more successful on digital singles, Twitter, Facebook, VEVO, etc.., she maybe more popular / known worldwide with her hits, but you and me know that means nothing when her commercial success doesn’t live to it.

    • Jas May 25, 2013

Um excuse me but where the f*** did you come from Blue? You haven’t commented on a Beyonce post for a hot minute lol *side eye*. Anyways, Blue I tried to f*** with you I really did, but you Rihanna stans are f****** remedial. At least Beyonce’s fans stan for a b**** who actually has talent. Navy stan are fascinated by Rihanna(THE PERSON), More than her music. Her sound isn’t all that. Rihanna’s cool, but she’s no where near Beyonce’s lane. What makes Rihanna popular are her antics, her rants, and her “i don’t give a f***” attitude. People, especially the youth are fascinated by it. Hence whatever sound she puts out will be considered as “epic”.
Maybe, just mayde one day Rihanna will surpass her. But I think it’s obvious that Beyonce is the bigger icon right now but Rihanna’s star/legend status rises massively with each album she releases. They are both the biggest women in music at the moment for a reason. Oh, and your’re pretty bias yourself. So yeah.

      • Blue Ivy Carter-Rodriguez May 25, 2013

Jas I am not shading Beyonceor her sales. I just don’t get how you can say Rihanna has no timeless music but Beyonce does? It doesn’t make sense they both have songs that people will remember but let’s be honest here. Rihanna and Beyonce have around the same album sales however Rihanna is now surpassing Beyonce in appeal all round. No one is dismissing Beyonce as a performer or artist but she isn’t as popular as she was in 2006 commercially. She is declining. And you know what who cares? She’s still worth over 400 million she doesn’t have to make music to compete anymore . Just don’t act like Rihanna isn’t a Diva or have songs that people won’t listen to years from now. and by the amount of people (that agree and disagree) There must be truth to what I said

      • Jas May 25, 2013

Blue, I never said that none of Rihanna’s music was timeless. I however, don’t understand how certain people from the navy can say that about Beyonce. Nor do I understand how you can say that Rihanna is going to be more of a legend than Beyonce. Like it or not Beyonce is the most commercially viable act of our generation, not Rihanna. And thus far, she has made much more of an impact on the music industry than Rihanna has. If you want to talk about honesty then less do that. Yes Rihanna has sold more, but that has largely to do with the fact that she has released 7 albums as opposed to Beyonce’s 4. And statistically Beyonce still sells more than her. And as for her declining idk what you’re talking about. Was Beyonce popular in 2006? Yes. But there’s no way that she would have booked the SB stage and pulled in 104 mill viewers back then. Nor would she have been able to sell out a World Tour with no new music. I’m not saying that Rihanna isn’t a Diva but at this day in age she is not more iconic than Beyonce. That has a lot to do with the fact that Beyonce obtains a lot of talent. Hits might help you gain popularity but if you don’t have enough raw talent to back those hits up then you’ll never be respected.

Just look at Madonna or the Rolling Stones. They haven’t had a hit in years. Yet their albums and concerts sell like wild fire. Why? Because they are legendary. Hence, the reason why Beyonce’s tour is selling out without any music. She’s a legend in the making .Rihanna’s only passable on the radio. At the end of the day Beyonce’s artistry will always be respected more because she’s only progressed as an entertainer. Rihanna hasn’t even mastered her craft. Overall, and as of today Beyonce is more iconic. Your’re right evidently there is some truth to what’s being said. Because after 16 years in the industry if Beyonce was as unpopular as you think you and I wouldn’t be having this convo.

    • Lovebird May 25, 2013

That is the truth. Beyonce can BUY all the accolades she wants like the fake Billboard Millennium Award but she’ll never take away Rihanna’s track record of consistent growth in the industry.

12 #1s IN 7 YEARS, SMASH HIT AFTER SMASH HIT AFTER SMASH. And a consistent seller too.

      • Little Monster May 25, 2013

Well whose to say Rihanna hasn’t bought stuff/singles aswell. You can keep using that excuse, but at the end of I could say the same for your fave since you have no more proof than I do.

      • Teah May 25, 2013

Oh please! Nothing that you’ve said is factual. So I’m not sure why you went along with that “the truth is the truth” b*******. Because you have no proof. You, I, and the majority of the general public know that Beyonce has way more accolades than Rihanna. You just want to accuse her of buying them to discredit her and make Rihanna look better. But if that’s how you feel then fine. Because I could arguably say the same about Rihanna buying her singles. Because other than that she has nothing else to fall back on. That’s why she bought them.

    @Little Monster

Sony BMG Called Close to Settlement With Spitzer

(Excerpt from NY Times) Eliot Spitzer, the New York attorney general, is close to a settlement with one of the world’s largest record companies to resolve accusations that it used improper tactics to influence radio programmers to play its songs, people involved in the discussions said last night.

The agreement between Mr. Spitzer and the record company, Sony BMG Music Entertainment, one of four music conglomerates under investigation, is expected to be announced on Monday, these people said. They cautioned, however, that the talks were continuing and could still break down.

The settlement is expected to establish a blueprint for agreements that Mr. Spitzer will probably seek with the other three major record companies, which have all received subpoenas.

Late last year, investigators in Mr. Spitzer’s office served subpoenas on Sony BMG, a unit of Sony and Bertelsmann; the Universal Music Group, a unit of Vivendi Universal; the EMI Group; and the Warner Music Group seeking copies of contracts, billing records and other information detailing their ties to independent middlemen who pitch new songs to radio programmers in New York State. Investigators have also reviewed e-mail messages and internal memos and have questioned senior executives at Sony.

As part of the settlement, Sony BMG is expected to admit to misconduct in its radio promotion practices and agree to changes that would limit attempts to influence airplay, according to people involved in the discussion.

For instance, the company is expected to end its use of independent promoters – middlemen who are paid to persuade programmers to add new songs.

Sony BMG will also probably forgo future use of “spin programs,” in which labels pay stations to broadcast songs repeatedly, usually with an eye toward manipulating a song’s appearance on industry airplay charts.

The company, whose roster of artists includes Beyoncé Knowles, is also expected to agree to a multimillion-dollar fine.

Spokesmen for Mr. Spitzer’s office and Sony BMG, which was created last year as a joint venture of the music units of Sony and Bertelsmann, declined to comment last night.

Representatives for the other three companies also declined to comment. (END EXCERPT)

And you expect me to believe that Billboard Millenium Award was not paid for, LOL.

    • Little Monster May 25, 2013

And is Beyonce the only one signed to Sony? No. What about the receipts for Rihannas payola deals and other things bought by her companies? Go research that.

      • Lovebird May 25, 2013

If you had receipts of Rihanna’s alleged Payola, you would post them no? Rihanna has survived 3 Billboard rule changes, Beyonce hasn’t. The proof is in the pudding.

      • Little Monster May 25, 2013

We all know Rihannas camp is just as shady. And you still didn’t provide the RECEIPT for the awards though.

      • Lovebird May 25, 2013

  62. Just To Say May 25, 2013

People are so annoying. I don’t even particularly like Beyonce that much but there is no point shying away from the fact she has been one of the biggest pop stars for a long time now. As someone said, you can pick at her flaws, but she has more than enough overall success to leave a mark in the industry. Every artist has flaws but they also have strengths and will be remembered for different reasons. Not every pop star is supposed to be equal in everything. Whether it be stats, acclaim, performance ability. They thrive in different areas. The reason why you may be a fan of one, and not the other.

    • SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) May 25, 2013

But to say Single Ladies is a classic tho… #Death

      • Teah May 25, 2013

Idk about all of that but its more classic than a lot of the s*** that Rihanna relentlessly puts out. Since people want to make comparisons between them smdh.

      • Just To Say May 25, 2013

        Its a classic video though.

      • Just To Say May 25, 2013

The video is what makes it a classic imo.

  63. SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) May 25, 2013

This post is A COMPLETE MESS! it was like 70 comments, 2 – 3 hours later, almost 200. smh

Anyway Beyonce is now playing in Poland Orange Warsaw Festival, although they originally wanted her at the Morrocco festival but had to use second fiddle Rihanna instead because Beyonce was booked kiiii.

I think we all would agree that #1 singles, while a great achievement, mean nothing but the popularity of a song at a particular moment. An artist who follow trends, rarely takes risk, releases albums yearly, and makes their ‘album’ a compilation of singles is more likely to have more #1 singles then one who doesn’t.

    • SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) May 25, 2013

But what risks has Beyonce took? She is a good performer with decent danicng skills and a voice that is average at best, but since she is among the likes of Selena Gomez, Kesha, and Katy Perry you guys stay doing the most and making it look like she da s***.

      #next

      • Lydia May 25, 2013

She took a risk by releasing an album like 4 and not one that adhered to the usual pop dance sound that was slaying the charts at the time.

      • HoneychildPlease May 25, 2013

        I agree @ slayriah….

      • Blue Ivy Carter-Rodriguez May 25, 2013

Excuse me but ‘4’ wasn’t a “risk” you guys state she is R&B so that kind of album should be right up her alley. Stop defending her with such petty excuses. The album (Though was lyrically and most entertaining album by her) was a flop. It’s not her fault, her fans didn’t feel the album. they just want the booty shaking and hair flips, why do you think she hasn’t released any new music or changed up her dance moves? That’s all her gay fans want from her! I don’t even blame her, blame the fans who just want to be slayed with a hair flip and p**** pop

      • Jewell May 25, 2013

It was a risk in the industry climate. Whether she does R&B or not.

  68. Lovebird May 25, 2013

“idk about all of that but its more classic than a lot of the s*** that Rihanna relentlessly puts out.”

ULTIMATE DEATH. Single Ladies cannot be more classic than We Found love, Diamonds, Stay, Please don’t stop the music or even Umbrella.

But seriously though, do people still spin Single Ladies besides at Atlanta Black gay pride?

    • Lydia May 25, 2013

Stay, Diamonds, and please dont stop the music will not remembered much 10, even 5 years from now honey. They’re already forgettable. Single Ladies is more of a classic purely because of its impact.

      • Lovebird May 25, 2013

LMAO do you actually believe that??? Hahahahahaha

      • Lydia May 25, 2013

Yeah. Since I am not overly biased like you. Really you think stay and please don’t stop the music is more classic though? :\

      • Lovebird May 25, 2013

Single Ladies though…..OMG LMAO. Pick another song.

      • Lydia May 25, 2013

Nope. Stand by my word. I don’t know whats so hilarious when your faves biggest hit is about an Umbrella loool.

      • Lovebird May 25, 2013

My fav doesn’t have a “biggest hit”, she has “biggest HITS” and Umbrella is one of them. The other one is “We found love” which frankly is more meaningful than Single Ladies lmao.

Also Diamonds was #1 in Germany for 10 weeks and #8 in South Africa for 8 weeks. Stay was #1 in Canada for 9 weeks. Has you fav had a 10 week #1 outside the USA??

      • Lydia May 25, 2013

Umbrella is her biggest hit babe. And as I have seen multiple times, songs like Gangham Style have stats to boast like that. Need I say more?

      • Lydia May 25, 2013

        Gangnam*

  69. Lovebird May 25, 2013

“I think we all would agree that #1 singles, while a great achievement, mean nothing but the popularity of a song at a particular moment.”

But #1s consistently, well we’ll let the Queen say it for you. Oh and Madonnna disagrees too.

  70. Lydia May 25, 2013

Oh please. You may not like Beyonce but shes a f****** star and will be legendary/iconic (however you want to put it) for this generation whether you think it justified or not. It is the way it is.

  71. Lydia May 25, 2013

People need to stop letting their bias/dislike for someone cloud their judgement. It makes you sound extremely pressed whether you are or not.

  72. DIGGER BEY May 25, 2013

Bwahahaahahaha The Rihc*nts are scared to answer my question bwahahahahaha. If R**** is the queen. Why wasn’t her ass on Forbes Most Powerful Women list??????? Lmao I knew that NO LIFE MISERABLE C*NT @ Honey F** couldn’t stay away from THE QUEEEEEEEEEEEEN POSTS bwahahahaahahahahahahahahahahahaahahhaha

  74. Lydia May 25, 2013

The same people always up in here doing the most will be the same people seething when Beyonce is honoured in the future for being a great influence and inspiration for her time as an artist. Shes already getting that kind of credit and reference. Its really not that hard to digest unless you have a gripe with her!

  75. Lovebird May 25, 2013

Seriously though, the hive have lost the privilege to call any artist names. Single Ladies is a classic??? LMAO SERIOUSLY???? Is that your standard of a timeless song?? LMAO OMG.

  76. Pour It Up May 25, 2013

@Lovebird Girl rest. S*** I cant even stand Beyonce but you do too much on her posts. Don’t you have anything better to do? Even our fellow @Navi had to call out your silly ass before.

  77. Lydia May 25, 2013

A Navi sounds stupid laughing at single ladies tbh when their girls biggest hit is about a damn Umbrella lmfao.

    • Little Monster May 25, 2013

      IKR

    • Blue Ivy Carter-Rodriguez May 25, 2013

Umbrella was her breakout smash single. We found love became her fastest selling and most influential song of the year of 2011. Then Diamonds became that 1 song that was everywhere and charted since Sept. till now. How long has Single ladies charted? Outside of Americas? Diamonds is known EVERYWHERE… Even people in the middle east singing the hell out of that song… That 1 song has outshined any Beyonce song in the past stop the b******* with your seething… It’s not cute, you look more pressed than Beyonce’s illegitimate baby bump.

      • Jewell May 25, 2013

Single Ladies had more cultural impact than WFL AND Umbrella. No shade no tea. A song doesn’t have to go to #1 to be classed as more impactful. And I think she was referring to the songs content in this comment.

  78. Little Monster May 25, 2013

Ok so Single Ladies is such a Joke yet:

Rolling Stone named “Single Ladies” the best song of 2008, and wrote, “The beat … is irresistible and exuberant, the vocal hook is stormy and virtuosic.”[54] “Single Ladies” ranked as the second-best song of the 2000s decade in the magazine’s 2009 readers’ poll,[55] and Rolling Stone critics placed it at number 50 on the list of the 100 Best Songs of the Decade.[56] “Single Ladies” was placed at number two on MTV News’ list of The Best Songs of 2008; James Montgomery called it “hyperactive and supercharged in ways I never thought possible. It’s epic and s*** and even a bit sad.”[57] “There is absolutely zero chance Beyoncé ever releases a single like this ever again”, Montgomery concluded.[57] Time magazine’s critic Josh Tyrangiel, who called the song “ludicrously infectious”, ranked it as the seventh-best song of 2008.[58] Douglas Wolf of the same publication placed it at number nine on his list of the All-Time 100 Songs.[37]

“Single Ladies” appeared at number six on the Eye Weekly’s critics’ list of the Best Singles of 2008,[59] and at number six on About.com’s Mark Edward Nero’s list of the Best R&B Songs of 2008.[60] On The Village Voice’s year-end Pazz & Jop singles list, “Single Ladies” was ranked at numbers three and forty one in 2008 and 2009 respectively.[61][62] Additionally, the Maurice Joshua Club Mix of the song was ranked at number 443 on the 2008 list.[61] “Single Ladies” was named the best song of the 2000s decade by Black Entertainment Television (BET).[63] Sarah Rodman, writing for The Boston Globe, named “Single Ladies” the fourth most irresistible song of the decade, and stated, “[Knowles] combined leotards with crass engagement-bling baiting into one delicious s***-yet-antiquated package. The video had the whole world dancing and waving along via YouTube.”[64] VH1 ranked “Single Ladies” at number sixteen on its list of The 100 Greatest Songs of the 2000s.[65] In his book Eating the Dinosaur (2009), Chuck Klosterman wrote that “Single Ladies” is “arguably the first song overtly marketed toward urban bachelorette parties”.[66]

    Accolades [edit]

“Single Ladies” has received awards and nominations, including the Song of the Year, Best R&B Song and Best Female R&B Vocal Performance at the 52nd Grammy Awards.[67] It also won the awards for Favorite Song at the 2009 Kids’ Choice Awards,[68] Song of the Year at the 2009 Soul Train Music Awards,[69] and Best R&B Song at the 2009 T*** Choice Awards.[70] The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) recognized “Single Ladies” as one of the most performed songs of 2009 at the 27th ASCAP Pop Music Awards.[71] The song was nominated in the Best Song category at the 2009 NAACP Image Awards[72] and in the English-language “Record of the Year” category at the 2009 Premios Oye! Awards.[73] It was also nominated for Record of the Year at the 2009 Soul Train Music Awards,[69] Viewer’s Choice Award at the 2009 BET Awards,[74] Best R&B/Urban Dance Track at the 2009 International Dance Music Awards,[75] and World’s Best Single at the 2010 World Music Awards.[76]

“Single Ladies” gained widespread popularity for its catchy hook and theme of female empowerment.[3][35] Critics have compared the song to Aretha Franklin’s “Respect” and Gloria Gaynor’s “I Will Survive”, prompted by their lyrics, which all promote female empowerment.[3] The music video achieved fame for its intricate choreography[159] and its deployment of jazz hands with a wrist twist.[31] It has been credited with starting the “first major dance craze of both the new millennium and the Internet”,[3] triggering a number of parodies of the dance choreography.[1][160] Billy Johnson of Yahoo! Music wrote that the video of “Single Ladies” was the top music-related viral hit of 2009.[39] MTV News’ James Montgomery wrote that “it appears like [the music video] was custom-made for the YouTube generation, which probably explains why making homages became a worldwide phenomenon.”[104] The video generated interest in J-Setting, the dance form that choreographer JaQuel Knight highlights in the video, and Knowles is credited with bringing the dance style to the mainstream.[40]

In a radio interview on NPR’s All Things Considered, Knight shared his excitement that the popular video made people want to learn to dance.[113] Trish Crawford from the Toronto Star observed how it has appealed to all age groups and genders, in contrast with the short-lived dance craze inspired by Soulja Boy two years before, which she considered “mainly a male hip-hop dance”.[3] Crawford mentioned, “Toddlers have tackled [the ‘Single Ladies’ dance]. [So have] recreation centre dance classes, sorority sisters in their dorm rooms, suburban teenagers in their basements and high school cheerleaders.”[3] In February 2009, Columbia Records announced the launch of a “Single Ladies” Dance Video Contest. Fans aged eighteen and older were invited to adhere precisely to the dance routine performed by Knowles and her two dancers in the original production.[161] The winning video was included in her live album, I Am… World Tour.[147]

    Parodies and homages [edit]

    Three men wearing leotards

A drag showdance inspired by the “Single Ladies” music video
“Single Ladies” was first parodied in the November 15, 2008, episode of SNL, which featured Knowles.[162] She was initially reluctant to participate in the segment but agreed to after a visit from Timberlake in her dressing room.[134] Knowles’s choreographer, Frank Gatson Jr., expressed mixed emotions at the result, saying: “I was upset because I know that Justin’s a great dancer and if he learned the choreography, he could do it really well… If they’re making parodies [of our work] just like they make parodies of politicians and presidents, that means it must be big time. So in that respect, I have to take my hat off to them for doing it.”[163] Later, Joe Jonas of the pop rock band Jonas Brothers posted a video on their YouTube account where he imitated the dance in a black leotard and heels.[164] Irish pop duo Jedward parodied Knowles’ dance moves for the video of their cover version of “All the Small Things”.[165] In London, one hundred dancers wearing leotards similar to the one worn by Knowles performed the choreography on April 20, 2009, to promote Trident Unwrapped gum.[166] On November 20, 2009, B** Newsreaders including Fiona Bruce, Sophie Raworth, Kate Silverton, and Susanna Reid performed “Single Ladies” in black military-style uniforms.[167] They were later joined onstage by their male newsreader colleagues Bill Turnbull, Ben Brown, Nicholas Owen, and Charlie Stayt before taking on Diversity, winners of the third series of Britain’s Got Talent, in a dance-off.[167] They performed the choreography to raise funds for the UK campaign, Children In Need.[167]

The music video inspired a legion of amateur imitators to post videos of themselves performing the choreography on YouTube.[1][159] One of the most viewed viral videos is that of Shane Mercado, who appeared on The Bonnie Hunt Show in bikini bottoms to perform the choreography. His subsequent meeting with Knowles became a media event.[168] Knowles has acknowledged the popularity of the videos on YouTube; during her concert tour, excerpts from many of the YouTube videos were played in the background while Knowles was performing the song.[40] Cubby, who is an on air personality for Charlotte, North Carolina’s 96.1 The Beat AM, based his parody on the SNL one.[168] His video lead to a meet and greet with Knowles and eventually, an opportunity to join her on stage at a show stop in Atlanta during her I Am… Tour.[168] Many videos featuring babies of different ages, imitating the dance choreography of “Single Ladies”, have been uploaded on YouTube.[169] A video showing Cory Elliott, a baby boy from New Zealand, performing the dance while watching Knowles on television, gained significant coverage from several media outlets.[170] Time magazine’s critic Dan Fletcher ranked it as the fourth best viral video of 2009 and wrote, “Young children love songs with good rhythm and repetition, and ‘Single Ladies’ certainly has both.”[170] However, when a video of seven year-old girls performing choreography from “Single Ladies” at a dance competition in Los Angeles went viral on YouTube, it created a controversy and sparked outrage from many viewers, who felt the girls were sexualized by the suggestive dance moves.[171]

In a video filmed by singer John Legend, US President Barack Obama appears with his wife Michelle performing part of the “Single Ladies” routine.[172] He also briefly performed the hand-twirl move from the song’s video at the Obama Inaugural Celebration.[162] This video prompted an Obama look-alike, Iman Crosson, to do his own version of the “Single Ladies” choreography.[173] Several other well-known personalities, including American environmentalist and politician Joe Nation and American actor Tom Hanks, have performed the dance.[174] In the music video for “Dancin on Me” by DJ Webstar and Jim Jones, three females are featured in the background, imitating the “Single Ladies” dance.[40] Wearing a black leotard and gold glove, Katy Brand performed the choreography with two backup female dancers for the final of B** One’s Let’s Dance for Comic Relief to raise money for the charity Comic Relief on March 12, 2010.[175] Jenna Ushkowitz, Chris Colfer and Heather Morris did the “Single Ladies” dance as part of the Glee Live tour in June 2011.[176] The music minister at Geyer Springs First Baptist Church in Little Rock, Arkansas, thought it would be “an excellent idea” to attract interest in the church choir by using a remix of “Single Ladies” and having choir members dance to it. In the music video he made, the choir members sing, “All the singing ladies, all the singing fellas … If you like the choir, then won’t you come and sing in it.” Cyndi Wilkerson, Music Ministry Assistant at Geyer Springs First Baptist Church, uploaded the video to YouTube on August 29, 2011.[177] In April 2013, YouTube phenomenon Psy did the dance routine during a concert in Seoul while wearing a red leotard and red boots.[178]

    Usage in media [edit]

“Single Ladies” has been used in various media including television shows, commercials and books. In the Best of 2009 issue of People magazine, Khloe, Kim, and Kourtney Kardashian were ranked at number nine on the magazine’s list of “25 Most Intriguing People”; the photograph accompanying the article showed the three women in leotards mimicking the look from the “Single Ladies” video.[179] The song has been included in many television shows, including CSI: Miami,[180] Cougar Town,[181] and in two episodes in Glee.[182][183] In the United Kingdom, the video for “Single Ladies” was used for a 2009 television commercial for the new Doner kebab flavored Pot Noodle.[168] In other media, issue 33 of comic book series The Brave and the Bold features a scene in which Wonder Woman, Zatanna, and Barbara Gordon sing a karaoke version of the song while at a club.[184] A mash-up video of the theme of “Single Ladies” and The Andy Griffith Show circulated on the Internet in early 2010. It was produced by Party Ben at the end of 2008.[185] In July 2010, the line “Put a Ring on It” was used by the Joint United Nations Programme on H**/A*** as the tagline for a female condom public awareness campaign in the US.[186]

Your brain is too shallow and fazed by #1 status for my liking. But can we expect anything more from a Rihanna stan?

      • Lovebird May 25, 2013

But where’s the impact though??? I can see more 1s on Umbrella than I can see on Single Ladies.

      • Little Monster May 25, 2013

Did you read my last sentence. Or do you need me to define Impact for you?

      • quetta May 25, 2013

Dying!! He had to skip your last sentence cause he’s a dumbass

  80. My Forehead Tho May 25, 2013

“Single Ladies” is a classic though. Whenever somebody talks about a ring, being single, or an engagement , that song will be referenced- just like it is today, 5 years after its release.

Beyonce makes classic. Don’t drag her because your faves don’t.

    • SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) May 25, 2013

      It’s NOT!

      “5 years after its release”

      LOL. 5 years? your funny.

      • Iz (Queen Adele) May 25, 2013

I agree @Myforehead Yes it is. I hear it a lot played in reference to those things most of the time. Are you under a rock?

      • SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) May 25, 2013

        # IZ (QUEEN ADELE)

5 years is too soon to label music as “classic” since it wasn’t even that long ago. Let’s have this conversation in another 10 years.

    • Te$$a:) May 25, 2013

Exactly! The video was also classic. You had grown men doing the “Single Ladies” choreography lmfao. Hell! you even had people dressing up like “Single Ladies” for Halloween. I know what I’m talking about, I was one of them lol. I have yet to see any of Rihanna’s songs or videos make that big of an impact. So I don’t know why her fans are trying to make it seem like she has SO many iconic songs. When the first one that comes to mind is Umbrella. And yeah that song was a hit sensation. But even then the video and choreography aren’t as memorable as “Single Ladies.” Other than that I’m not sure what classics they are talking about. Unless its “We Found Love”. In all honesty, I love that song but its not classic to be nor has it been out long enough to even be appreciated. But then again, its really hard to appreciate any of Rihanna’s singles because she releases them like hot cakes.

All bias aside “Crazy in Love” and “Single Ladies” are the most memorable Beyonce songs. And “Umbrella” is really the most memorable song that comes to mind when I think of Rihanna. No shade.

  81. Iz (Queen Adele) May 25, 2013

Bey is amazing and carved herself a legacy in music. Theres no need for debate.

  82. SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) May 25, 2013

When will the hive learn that Destiny Child’s album sales does not = Beyonce’s?

    • Loyalty May 25, 2013

Its only certain members of the Hive that use that darling.

      • SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) May 25, 2013

Well, Many of them do. It’s quite pathetic.

      • Loyalty May 25, 2013

I don’t see many. Only two or three and its generally the same people.

      • Jas May 25, 2013

I don’t know what the hell she’s talking about. But only a few Hive members do that. And yeah I say a few because only 2 or 3 people have habitually said that. Or at least that’s what it looks like on this post. They don’t represent the general majority of the Hive. So the fact that she said that is what’s pathetic. Because the Hive is not a damn unit. A few people aren’t representative of the majority.

  83. Loyalty May 25, 2013

o_O these comments though. On a more relevant-to-this-thread note… I love standing on the sun. It has so much potential.

  84. Te$$a:) May 25, 2013

Lol @HoneyChildPlease asking how I knew that she comments on Beyonce’s post. Who the f*** doesn’t know that you always hate/comment on Beyonce’s post. That’s what your’re TGJ famous for lmfao! Same goes for Lovebird and Slayriah Carey smh.

  85. Vee May 25, 2013

The Hive is so delusional yet various other sources quote Beyonce as a queen and endlessly praise her from the media, celebrities, music veterans, politicians and tv personalities. Who calls Rihanna a queen though really besides her fans.
So, you keep doing you Queen Bey, what doesnt kill ya only makes you stronger!

  86. ratedxxx(tic toc) May 25, 2013

you know what I find amazing about this beyonce is better than every body else, nobody can touch her crap, you stans stay trying to sell?

the fact that alicia keys has outsold her in the united states alone…she also has 14 grammys,,,how many grammy’s does beyonce have as a solo artist?

and the ironic thing about this s*** is…alicia outsold her without having to re release her albums at least 3 times..like beyonce.

  87. My Forehead Tho May 25, 2013

Beyonce was Destiny’s Child. For, with out Beyonce, Destiny’s Child wouldn’t exist.

    Beyonce’s Solo sales + Destiny’s Child Sales= Beyonce’s Total Sales

    #fact

    • SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) May 25, 2013

      “Beyonce was Destiny’s Child.”

LOL. #TheDelusion. so direspectful to Kelly and Michele. Yes, she contributed most and it’s ok to recognize that, but to completely put THE GROUP’S Achievements in Beyonce’s direction is foolish.

  88. Loyalty May 25, 2013

@Rated XXX no one is even saying no one can touch Beyoncé, if you actually read the comments. Her fans are just defending her for her positives that people love to downplay.

    • ratedxxx(tic toc) May 25, 2013

thats a bunch of b*******….lets keep it real…..before you come at me, make sure you read all the comments first…

      • Loyalty May 25, 2013

Oh really, well I’ve read and I don’t see anyone saying ‘no one can touch Beyonce’. Feel free to show me where someone says that.

  89. Loyalty May 25, 2013

The Hive are always the scapegoats in this mess, when really its the same people that ALWAYS bring negativity (not constructive criticism) who start talking about irrelevant s***, and you wonder why her fans go off?

    • quetta May 25, 2013

      Nothing but the truth!!

    • Sass May 25, 2013

Totally agree. And your Beyonce avi is so nice!

      • Loyalty May 25, 2013

        Thanks

  90. DIGGER BEY May 25, 2013

  91. quetta May 25, 2013

I see certain stan base is pissed as hell cause their fav doesn’t have the same impact as beyonce. Let me know when your fav has people doing covers to a snippet.

    • SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) May 25, 2013

        You read correctly.

      • SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) May 25, 2013

        Do you care to explain?

  92. ratedxxx(tic toc) May 25, 2013

for a queen, she sure as hell have to work 3 times more than the average person to selll..case in point how many time did she re release each of her albums?

    b-day……1.b-day
    2.b-day deluxe edition
    3.b-day anthology video album

    I am….1..i am sasha fierce
    2. i am sasha fierce deluxe

now who else does all this?,,,,a bish that knows her dumb ass stans is going to re buy the same album over and over again

    • Sass May 25, 2013

      • Sass May 25, 2013

Nah but carry on flattering yourself if it makes you feel good. It amuses me how bothered you are by it. You actually went a researched all her albums and formed a list lmao.

  93. Sass May 25, 2013

I dont know what some people are trying to acheive by the nature of these comments. In your ideal world Beyonce would be irrelevant, with no impact on pop culture, no influence on others, no longevity, no big career highlights and fade into obscurity. But you and I know its the complete opposite so #settledown you are barking up the wrong tree.

    • Sass May 25, 2013

      *achieve*

    • MDNA May 25, 2013

no that’s in the ideal world of the hood hive.

      • Sass May 25, 2013

Beyonce being irrelevant is in the ideal world of the Hood Hive?

      • quetta May 25, 2013

Haha, is the stan of century donna mad? The only time someone is checking for her is when it’s about gaga #next

  94. NΛVI May 25, 2013

    “SMASH” death..the reach!
So samatha you basically went on youtube and look for all these videos of people covering this medicore song to make it seems as tho the song is like the second comming of christ? smh. There are people covering songs whether new or old and they’re not even a “SMASH” hit. lol but i guess desperate times calls for desperate measures.

  95. Sass May 25, 2013

And I love Standing on the Sun. Its would be a nice single for the summer. These covers are great.

  96. Jewell May 25, 2013

Looks through comments. Oh the irony, look who started this. Rihanna fans. You can sashay off onto your faves post now and watch her mediocre and below average performances and offer up your critique there because that is where your opinion is really necessary.

  97. ratedxxx(tic toc) May 25, 2013

let me break it down for you idiots…nobody could give two flying f**** that beyonce is successful…..let me speak for my self…

beyonce as person, singer, entertainer, is not keeping me up at night….why..because the people that I support have more talent in their pinky toe than beyonce have in her whole life…..they are call bad bishes…

the issue that I have is with you dumb stans putting that broad on a f****** pedestal that she doesnt deserved to be on…

can she sing, yes, entertain, yes…thats the least she can do since her whole career is based of swagger jacking other people’s hard work…

if you guys didn’t attack other people who actually works their ass off to be where they are at..i wouldnt give two f****

  98. Jewell May 25, 2013

And they’re still doing the most lmao. Why are you so bothered about Beyonce and her fans? Is it even that serious? S*** they stay making more comments on Beyonce posts than Rihanna smdh.

  99. ratedxxx(tic toc) May 25, 2013

for the record beyonce would not be where she is now, if it wasnt for her father, lying, cheating, paying people off so his daughter can get all the shine…

I see that you guys love to add destiny’s child number’s to beyonce’s numbers…

so that would mean kelly is not a flop…you hear kelly stans, kelly is not a flop, she has sold millions worldwide…

    • Jewell May 25, 2013

Girl bye take a chill pill and stop getting your blood pressure raised over Beyonce. Let me see… 4 comments with multiple paragraphs already. Keep em coming, aint nothing no one hasn’t heard before 😀

  105. Jas May 25, 2013

For the record Rihanna wouldn’t be where she is if it wasn’t for Jay-Z, studio enhancement, and the social media. When your antics get more airtime than your work or talent … then your overrated. Hence, Rihanna is possibly THE most overrated artist of her generation w/ justin beiber in a close second. they both should be thanking God for social media because without it, they would be absolutely no one, nothing. Because they don’t have a substantial amount of talent.

And instead of worrying about the hive addinh Destiny’s Childs numbers you should be on your fave own faves post defending her after that long “dragging”. I don’t understand how the navy can talk about the hive when you condone the fact that Rihanna can’t even put on a half decent show.

And no one ever said that Kelly Rowland was a flop. I like her and she has sold millions. People were merely stating that Beyonce was the main contributor to the group. Which she was, like most group leaders do i.e. MJ, Diana Ross, JT, and etc.

  106. rihanna is BIGGER THN BEYONCE EVER WAS May 25, 2013

ihanna Broke Mawazine Festival’s Record (150,000 people)
    MAWAZINE Festival Morocco,

Some big names came to that Festival and perfromed: Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Shakira, Kany West, Sting, Alicia Keys, Kylie Minongue, Stevie Wonder, Lionel Richie, Evanescence, Scorpions, Lenny Kravitz, The Jacksons, …

All big names, all big Superstars.
Some of them opened or closed the Festival.

But no one broke the record until yesterday, by what the press and the audience called her THE PRINCESS OF POP/R&B, Rihanna

Even the price, this year for Rihanna it was the highest (~150$) compared to Mariah and Shakira (~100$)

    • Yolo May 25, 2013

Theres a Rihanna thread underneath honey.

  107. ratedxxx(tic toc) May 25, 2013

I find it ironic that the same beyonce stans who stays on the rihanna post are now crying like a little b**** because some of the rihanna fans are on here…

if you can’t take it don’t dish it out…

    look who i’m talking to….

    • SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) May 25, 2013

      EXACTLY!

They do the same damn thing and get mad @ the navy.

      • Brandys Starr May 25, 2013

As much as the Hive go off on Rihanna posts at times, I never see the same consistent HATERS from them on Rihanna posts doing the most. I could name the people in Rihannas fanbase that are always doing the most on Beyonce posts without fail not so much the other way around. You only have to compare the last two posts on Beyonce and Rihanna to see that.

      • SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) May 25, 2013

        Digger Bey, H20, hive,

      • quetta May 25, 2013

This rihanna bandwagoner though^^^ you do the most.

      • Brandys Starr May 25, 2013

I see H20 give Rihanna credit. Digger Bey I see more on Bey posts. And its not as bad as the likes of Lovebird, that person people call Sybil aka ‘Rihanna was bigger than Beyonce ever was’, HoneyChildPlease etc. They go HAM. But whatever, I guess both can be as bad as each other.

      • SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) May 25, 2013

@QUETTA, are you talking about me?

        @BRANDYS

Umm, have you ever read Digger Bey’s comments? really? atleast, Lovebird keeps it classy but digger Bey has the most disgusting comments ever. But yes, the hate comes from both sides.

      • quetta May 25, 2013

        Yes I am.

I am DYIN!! That you said @psychobird keeps it classy. #kissinass #bandwagoner

      • Brandys Starr May 25, 2013

Lovebird keeps it classy lol? He stays talking about Beyonces looks and family and is just as ratchet as the next person when he/goes off on a Beyonce post on bad day roftl. But yeah I agree, both can be as bad as each other. That was just my observation.

      • SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) May 25, 2013

        @QUETTA
Well, he’s BY FAR more classy than Digger Bey.
Why are you upset dear, I’m speaking nothing bu the truth.

      • Brandys Starr May 25, 2013

This is true. Not upset, I like Beyonce a lot, but the hate for her is like no other sometimes.

      • Brandys Starr May 25, 2013

Its almost like obsessive hate with some people.

      • quetta May 25, 2013

@bandwagonfenty what truth? And there is nothing to be upset about. Just because digger likes to cap lock does not make him less classy..and wtf is up with a “classy” post when psycho bird stay shading bey n her child. <<– that is NOT classy.

@brandy you stated nothing but the truth "But the hate for her is like no other sometimes' " its almost like obssesive hate" honestly its like every fan base against beyonce and the hive and people wonder why we stay in defense mode because of these people downplaying her success.

    • Sass May 25, 2013

LOL you’re still talking about me? You wish I was crying honey, you’re the one that seems to be having some kind of breakdown on here.

As I scroll down on these comments I see a couple of comments from white girl mob 2.0 calling beyhives the N WORD. It hurts me to say this but.. I gotta agree beyhives take stuff out of context. They catch a attitude quick over something soooo small.

Beyhives needs some help asap cause you got visitors calling the whole fan base the N word. That’s sad that ya are being call a bunch of N word.

It’s the truth though why can’t ya act like Adele Stan base or taylor swift Stan base. They don’t act all ratchet like beyhives do. Even that Taylor swift fan who comes on here act better than most of you beyhive members. That’s very sad in ya book.

    • SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) May 25, 2013

White girl mob 2.0 is a racist b****!

      • Nahjee May 25, 2013

I can’t blame her for saying that. Cause beyhives be acting crazy on beyonce posts all the time.

      • SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) May 25, 2013

How could you say that! She can cuss all she wants but she doesn’t need to bring race into the situation. I don’t like your fave but I never come for her because she’s black…

    • Teah May 25, 2013

Your’re wrong for that. No body deserves to be called a N*****. And if the Hive is as ratchet as you claim then she shouldn’t have took it upon herself to come to this post. Can the Hive be crazy? Absolutely. But resorting to racially offensive remarks, on a Black Blog especially, is just uncalled for. So if Adele or Taylor Swifts fan bases vibes are what you want. Then you can easily find a Taylor Swift or Adele post if that’s more of your speed. But then again, that’s just a suggestion.

  109. Rach May 25, 2013

Omg these comments are a mess. When I came here earlier the comments were minimal. I see the Hive put these b****** in check though.

  110. Ti$ May 25, 2013

I find it ironic that most of Rihanna’s stans are on this post as opposed to their faves. Rihanna’s performance at Morocco post only has 60 something comments and this one has damn near 300 smh.

  111. ratedxxx(tic toc) May 25, 2013

actually rihanna wouldnt be here if it wasn’t for L.A. Reid…

teairra mari was Jay z main artist..rihanna wasn’t jay z main bish until after l.a reid push rihhanna to the spot light……

its wasnt till after umbrella rihanna became jay z main bish…..

if you can sit here and say rihanna is overrated so is beyonce…both bished are shoved down our throat none stop…the only difference is rihanna is actually the main bish bringing jay z money..

get the f*** out of here with the”nobody ever said kelly is flop”….the only reason you guys are claiming kelly now, because of the fact that people know for a fact the majority of beyonces numbers comes from destiny child……

so the only reason rihanna is famous is because of social media..ok Ill take that…why is social media rejecting beyonce,,,

bottom line..regardless of how much rihanna is this and that..she brings the majority of the money to rock nation

  112. Lovebird May 25, 2013

Bored with Rihanna breaking records. Not here for her breaking another record.

The audience called her THE PRINCESS OF POP/R&B, Rihanna

Even the price, this year for Rihanna it was the highest (~150$) compared to Mariah and Shakira (~100$)

    150,000 people in attendance

Nope, not here for yet another record broken. I know Rihanna is a FLOP and Beyonce has gotten her into hiding, how did she break yet another record….nope, NOT HERE FOR THIS.

  113. My Forehead Tho May 25, 2013

Why are the Navy disrespecting their fave’s idol though?

I don’t see Usher fans disrespecting Michael or the C-squad coming for Janet.

    • SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) May 25, 2013

      Rihanna’s fave is Mariah though….

      • Jewell May 25, 2013

Has Mariah given Rihanna love back though? Ive seen her praise Beyonce on countless occasions yet you stay shading Bey when your fave loves her.

      • SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) May 25, 2013

        @JEWELL
This has nothing to do with Mariah praising Beyonce. And not because Mariah loves Beyonce it means I have to love her as well. Mariah also loved whitney and Celine but I never liked them. Do you understand now or do you need further explanation?

      • Jewell May 25, 2013

Ooo ok touchy! It was just a questions.

      • Emeral May 25, 2013

Reads title of last video *rolls eyes and scrolls past*

    • Lovebird May 25, 2013

      huh???

**Looks at screen name, looks at Avi, scrolls through numerous comments of yours peddling insults at Rihanna**

      Whatever b****…

      • My Forehead Tho May 25, 2013

But none of my fave’s idolizes this b**** and for obvious reasons, so how I feel about her is irrelevant. On the contrary, your fave, Rihanna, has been heavily influenced by Beyonce and called her her idol numerous times. Since your fave and the rest of the world knows her place, which is below Beyonce, i’m curious as to why her stans don’t…

Like I said, I don’t see lesser stars fan’s like Usher and Ciara coming for icons like Michael and Janet, so why does the Navy?

      • Lovebird May 25, 2013

Rihanna has never been influenced by Beyonce, she’s been influenced by Madonna and Mariah Carey and has stated this numerous times. She only says nice thing about Beyonce because she works with Jay Z, that’s all.

      • Jewell May 25, 2013

How do you know for a fact though? Oh that’s right. You don’t.

      • Lovebird May 25, 2013

I know because Beyonce is a total b**** towards Rihanna, who would want to be friends with that.

Also, just because Rihanna “might” like Beyonce doesn’t mean I have to.

      • My Forehead Tho May 25, 2013

        @Lovebird

“I know because Beyonce is a total b**** towards Rihanna, who would want to be friends with that.”

Echoing Jewel, how do you know for a fact though? Oh that’s right. You don’t.

Girl as much as you think you know Rihanna & Beyonce, you don’t. According to 99% of Beyonce’s peers, she is incredibly humble and sweet. Hell, even Rihanna said it in one of these videos we’ve posted. You tried though

      • Jas May 25, 2013

I’m sorry Lovebird but please shut the f*** up lmfao. Stop acting like Jewell doesn’t have a valid point. None of us know, including yourself, know Rihanna personally. Therefore, all we can really go by is what she said. And in the beginning of her career, she said that Beyonce inspired her…on numerous occasions. Hell! people were even calling her the “Bajan Beyonce”. So stop being ridiculous. Of course she wouldn’t say that now. Beyonce’s looked at as competition, as much as you try to deny it. Had that not been the case we wouldn’t even be having this convo. . She said that Beyonce was her idol plain as day. So stop over analyzing and take things for what they are. Geez.

      • Teah May 25, 2013

Lovebird is f****** crazy. Earth to Lovebird! YOU DO NOT KNOW BEYONCE OR RIHANNA! YOU CAN COME ON BACK TO EARTH NOW!

  114. Fran May 25, 2013

Ugh, don’t you people get tired arguing about the same thing?
    Lol @Ti$. You noticed 😉

    • Ti$ May 25, 2013

Yup. Its such a damn shame lmfao.

  115. Jewell May 25, 2013

Aw Rihanna broke her first festival record. Congrats! Beys been there done that with Glasto and V!

    • Lovebird May 25, 2013

      Ooop someone’s mad.

      • Jewell May 25, 2013

You wish. I love that you came and posted it on a Beyonce post first though. Yall stay hovering.

      • Lovebird May 25, 2013

I can post it anywhere I want honey.

      • Jewell May 25, 2013

Did I say you couldn’t honey? I love it that’s all, very comical.

  116. Aquarius May 25, 2013

How has this thread got over 200 comments and the Rihanna one next door barely reached 70? Half of the comments from Rihanna fans LOOOL.

Oh and SOTS is such a cute song. I see why people want to cover it already.

    • Jewell May 25, 2013

      Over 300 now!

  117. quetta May 25, 2013

I’ve had standing on the sun and turnt playing all damn day esp. Stand on the sun. Listening to this impactful snippet..#3.2.1.

  118. Nahjee May 25, 2013

Slayriah Carey – you gotta understand where white girl mob 2.0 is coming from. She saying ya be fighting over the same ole s*** like in every beyonce post, while other artist post barely gets past 30 comments.

Like you don’t see taylor swift fan base going all Ham on Adele or her fan base, they probably shade each other every now and then, but you won’t see them filling up a post with s*** that don’t even matter like the beyhives do.

All the beyhives do is bring up album sales, concerts. Commercial ads, awards. Like who gives a f***. Is Selena Gomez fan base talking bout all that stupid s*** in blog post on every damn site? Is taylor swift fan base doing it? MAYBE SOMETIMES, but not like the way ya be doing it ya be acting real ratchet Like beyonce ain’t giving ya some of her money.so why the hell ya going ham over somebody who don’t give two shits about you? She would not give a s*** if you got a*** and drop dead, she don’t give a f*** she counting her money.

Ya just need to stop acting ratchet and starting living ya life. Stop fighting on the Internet over somebody who clearly don’t even know you. SO THAT’S WHY I STAND BEHIND WHAT WHITE GIRL MOB SAID.

  119. My Forehead Tho May 25, 2013

Navy, help me with this. Your fave knows her place, yet you b****** don’t. This b**** has already bowed down.

    http://youtu.be/3EC5JkeWOz0

  120. Jas May 25, 2013

Idc if the hive was wrong what White Girl Mob said was messed up. Regardless of what stan base it was. It could have been towards the c squad, team breezy, or hell even the navy and I wouldn’t stand behind it. I’ve taken witness to White Girl Mob’s racist comments all of the time. She always says things like that about black celebs. And as a black individual I would never stand by that.

    • SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) May 25, 2013

      I agree.

    • Blue Ivy Carter-Rodriguez May 25, 2013

Don’t listen to that simple minded b****. She’s just mad that our faves use her fave’s CD as coasters.

    • SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) May 25, 2013

LOL. But when has Rihanna ever paid tribute to Beyonce?

      • Jewell May 25, 2013

        Oh really?^

      • SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) May 25, 2013

That was a tribute to Destiny’s Child NOT Beyonce. LOL
        #TryAgain

      • Jewell May 25, 2013

Lol how did I know that was coming. Since Rihanna said Beyonce was her idol around the same time as this, why are you questioning? Beyonce and Mariah both influenced her. Settled?

      • SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) May 25, 2013

        LOL, whatever

        Goodbye.

  121. SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) May 25, 2013

Actually, Mariah did compliment Rihanna not too long ago on idol. So yes, she has spoken highly of both Rih and Bey.

  122. Emeral May 25, 2013

Only a Beyonce post (and a pretty irrelevant one at that) can bring out all this unnecessary mess -__-

  123. SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) May 25, 2013

    quetta

    May 25, 2013 at 9:23 pm

@bandwagonfenty what truth? And there is nothing to be upset about. Just because digger likes to cap lock does not make him less classy..and wtf is up with a “classy” post when psycho bird stay shading bey n her child. <<– that is NOT classy.
    ________________
You say Lovebird shaded Beyonce's child but I've seen several Beyonce stans shade Mariah's twins (not sure if digger was one). They've said her kids are ugly and Moroccan's forehead is so big it must be Rihanna's son. Anyway, The truth that I was speaking of is Mariah being Rihanna's fave, Single Ladies not being a classic, and the hive being just as bad as the navy. And yes, you do seem to be upset, but it's ok.

    • Lovebird May 25, 2013

The LIES, I’ve never shaded Blue Ivy.

    • quetta May 25, 2013

Rofl did someone really say that “moroccans forehead is so big it must be rihanna’s son” Anywho, on a more relevant note..single ladies has had its impact whether you agree or not. And honestly I could care less about who rihanna likes more..I just care about bey but to me it seems like she likes them both..

Question. Why are you so pressed about “trying” to get me upset? Its not your only time trying.

  124. Blue Ivy Carter-Rodriguez May 25, 2013

This post is a mess. Sam You can pay your phone bill this month. I know you miss being on G***** since you have no Wifi connection in the slums.

  125. A Note May 25, 2013

These comments are ridiculous. Anyone would think some of you are getting paid to argue. But anyway, I am not a Beyonce stan, but Crazy in Love and Single Ladies are classic songs from Beyonce imho. And Umbrella is classic from Rihanna. Maybe We Found Love, not too sure about that one though. I don’t look at just charts, because many singles sell a lot and top the charts but are not necessarily classic. I look at the overall impact on people and the scene at the time.

    • B****** are liars! yeah they stan for Beybeastie May 26, 2013

B**** you are a stan cut the s***.!!!

  126. A Note May 25, 2013

That White Girl Mob person should be banned from this site.

  127. ratedxxx(tic toc) May 25, 2013

    ahahahhahahaah…

mariah is a shady bish, thats why I love her…some people take her answers to damn seriously….

  128. Jas May 25, 2013

Of course she’s not going to say it now. But she did and was inspired by Beyonce. Rihanna saying that she was inspired by Beyonce is like LeBron James saying that once upon a time he was a huge Kobe fan. The s*** is just not going to happen at this point in time. No matter what was said in the past.

  129. Angela Wesley May 26, 2013

Bootz, Shangela, and Cortez did the best covers on
Standing on the Sun.Wait I forget that Shangela
did Bow Down. Shangela got on my nerve when
copying the Whole super bowl performance, it
was a little to much for me. Monica Case
    did a good job.

  130. B****** are liars! yeah they stan for Beybeastie May 26, 2013

Why are b****** such liars??? You know you a beybeastie fan when you start i sentence off by saying…” I’m not a beyonce fan but…” B**** no you’s a damn lie!! Beybeastie is a fat ass fraud, and has no damn classics to her damn name…S*** is forgettable and tired! The only ones who say that fat ass thunder thigh two piece, and biscut poppeye eating b**** has classics is the damn hive….I bet the MAJORITY of people would laugh at such non sense! I’m not saying rihanna has a bunch of classics, but i bet 10 years down the line people will be bumping her music more than that fat ass beastie b**** fatassyonce….I don’t give a damn what that ignorant, low life, hoodlum hive members say. Low IQ having mofo’s like anybody actually takes them seriously..

    • These B****** Are Liars And Drug Addicts They Stan for Pon De Forehead May 26, 2013

You don’t take them seriously yet and still you took it upon yourself to come on a Beyonce Post. You Salvation Army b****** are f****** stupid. No body respects RihSplice as an entertainer. Classic and RihSplice are an oxymoron. Because they’res nothing classic about being a sorry ass vocalist, not being able to show up to your own damn concerts on time, releasing an album every year just to stay a float, and releasing micro waveable singles every damn second. Of which no body will remember months from now. If anyone isn’t take seriously its the Salvation Army. Hence, the reason why the MAJORITY of you b****** are on this post as opposed to the one about your own faves weak ass performance. 10 years from now the general public isn’t going to be “bumping” her music. They are gonna remember her for her stupid “I’m a bad b****” persona. Being that most likely she isn’t going to be around 10 years from now so that’s all we are really gonna be able to remember her for. Well, that and her abusive relationship with Baby Ike Turner, oops I mean Chris Brown.

You don’t have to lie. You care about what the hive has to say because if you didn’t your ass wouldn’t have been on here defending that no talented anorexic ass Splice Creature. The Salvation Army is by far the most delusional stan base because not only do you stan for a b**** that has no talent, she doesn’t have the decency to put on a good performance. SMDH No body takes anything that you Pot Heads have to say into consideration. Which is why your’re here…

  131. ratedxxx(tic toc) May 26, 2013

  135. Rihanna # 1 Fan May 26, 2013

Beyonce needs to take a break music wise her career is over, i just think she should stick to doing tours because Grown woman, bow down and standing on the sun are horrible songs… beyonce only gets number one albums because of who she is, her 4 album only had a number one album she didnt even get number one singles, run the world flopped, countdown flopped, not to mention the video sucked, 1+ 1 flopped , the only relevant song that was doing alright was best thing i never had, by the way did i mention that flopped to.. smh damn bey!
