why is he always off key when singing this song? Sing your song the way you wrote it otherwise you are giving a bad image to your fans and casual listeners who may think that you can’t sing live. Seriously he keeps changing the melody of his songs and everytime it is just not good.
I agree, stick to the melody and let it be. I don’t really know Miguel’s solo stuff but all I hear is someone getting carried away and losing the charm of the original song.
I love and appreciate what he’s trying to do but there are songs that should be sung just the way they are,& #Beautiful unfortunately is one of those songs…Any attempt to change the melody or improvise would simply not work.

Yes! He looks so happy. He is a huge Mariah fan so this whole experience has been extremely fun for him.
I like what he is trying to do with the song so I’m not mad at him for that. The instrumental is recognizable enough that people in attendance can appreciate the song and get exposed to it so it was also a nice way to do some promo. Go Miguel! Can’t wait for some new material from him. Kaleidoscope Dream was everything (excluding P*ssy is Mine.)
