In celebrating the 10 year anniversary for her debut album ‘Dangerously In Love‘, The Official Charts Company have released Beyonce’s highest selling British singles, listing them from the highest to smallest using sales generated by them since release.
With most of these cuts shifting what they sold via physical copies, even we were surprised to see what came out on top and which songs didn’t make the cut.

As why ‘Crazy In Love’ didn’t top the list? The cut was released one week before the release of its supporting album ‘Dangerously In Love‘, thus seeing fans rush to buy the album to get the full body work as opposed to the single…which they had already taken to #1!

it’s July and still no album/single, as a fan i think she/her team are being silly. All of this exposure could have paid off but now it is being wasted and when she drops the album she will risk overexposure.
I honestly believe that she was set to drop a single after the SB, and an album in March/April. I have ALWAYS believed that Bow Down/I Been On were released to test the waters. If the publics reactions were positive, they would’ve been the singles and we would’ve had an album by now. I don’t think Sony liked the direction that she was going in & they scrapped the album. I’m sure we’ll have SOMETHING this fall though. Why else would she add winter dates to the MCSWT?? 🙂
