Britney Spears Launches Comeback Countdown

Published: Tuesday 20th Aug 2013 by Sam

With the Billboard charts currently The Clash Of The Titans, it’s understandable why some acts would hold the fort with their releases. However, icon Britney Spears, has other ideas.

Unafraid of the inevitable clutter, the Pop force has launched a mysterious countdown timer on her official website.

See what we mean below…

Moments ago, BritneySpears.com went live with the following clock…

‘All Eyes On Me’? Needless to say, if the days and weeks ahead don’t spill the tea, the countdown’s end-date (September 17th) will!

With producers will.i.am and William Orbit super vocal about the material they’ve been cooking up with Spears, not to mention the singer’s own declaration that new music is coming “sooner than you think”, all signs point to this being a countdown to her chart return.

Say what we do about the 31 year old’s present-day ability, we’d be lying if we said we weren’t amped for her big reveal. Excited?

Your thoughts?

What’s so great about her “beats?” Britney’s singing voice is atrocious, and her music is generally corny. There’s nothing redeeming about anything she puts out. It’s the definition of all around terrible.

    • A.MILIAN August 20, 2013

She is an entertainer for crying out loud.. You ppl continue to talk sh*t about the girl and then want to give you opinion on news about her.. Go fly a kite.

      • irene46 August 21, 2013

what is “she’s an entertainer” supposed to mean in her case. she used to be an entertainer when she could at least dance while she lip synched.

I’m here for Britney. She doesn’t pretend to be something she’s not.

    • JOHNVIDAL August 20, 2013

She can´t pretend anything. She doesn´t have the talent or the intelligence to do it 🙂
Love your somments btw, with the exception of your constant hate on Gaga´s posts. I even like your comments when it comes to religion.

    • Fierce & all -Not here for b****** that can only slay in studios August 20, 2013

You hate Gaga for at least TRYING to think outside the box but like a manufactured cash cow machine like Britney? Ok…

  6. musiclover (king bey) August 20, 2013

Im always here for britney love her

  7. Timothy August 20, 2013

I’m so excited about this! Music wise Britney ALWAYS delivers and her last four albums proved that she’s not afraid to take risk and ahead of her peers. I’m sure they cooked up something very good, otherwise they would step away from the competition with Gaga and Katy! Brit seems to be very engaged with this album, writing on a lot of the songs and saying that it’ll be her most personal piece of work yet. Also the list of producers is INSANE!

First single is produced by William Orbit and Naughty Boy. And Sia just tweeted about Brits “amazing vocal” on the tune they did together.

What’s the point of including the hours, the minutes and the seconds? That only makes sense if it were less than 24 hrs.

    • SdotB August 20, 2013

oh lawd I tell ya, the Rih-tards….

  9. cake like lady gaga August 20, 2013

I’m ready for Britney… I didn’t like Femme Fatale though, I LOVED Blackout.. So I hope she revisits the Blackout era with this new album.

  10. moe August 20, 2013

    let s wait and see

  11. Durham Ravi August 20, 2013

    LOL

Is Bill Clinton still in the white house and is Dawson’s Creek still on TV? That was about the last time Britney was relevant.

I won’t be buying her s***. I never did before and “ooops” I won’t again.

    • irene46 August 21, 2013

      lol!

  12. joker August 20, 2013

Lawd have mercy! Another mediocre, bland, generic pop tart only this one has the personality of a dial tone! Bring on the robotic, princess of auto tune

Ain’t nobody checking for Britney except the t*** girls and gays.

    • channel_ROMAN August 20, 2013

Those are the same people who check for every other pop artist.

    • BIGheadModel August 21, 2013

      bwahahahahahahahahaa!!! SLAAAAAAAAYED….BWAHA

  13. JOHNVIDAL August 20, 2013

“we’ve just started working on tracks for her until the studio session”
These are a few words from Naughty Boy, producer of Britney´s upcoming album. Wasn´t she going to be more involved this go round? Damn some of her fans really think she is a real songwriter (wait for a few of them replying to my comment to say she wrote a song called Everytime once… lol and as if that was a masterpiece or something) Girl has written as much music as Whitney, Celine or Rihanna: almost none.
William Orbit is saying great things too… but he did the same when the last Madonna´s album was coming out and look what happened, worst Madonna´s album in 15 years (speaking of Madonna, how great were Ray of Light, Music, American Life and Confessions on a Dancefloor! those were 4 consecutive amazing and groundbreaking albums, very difficult to recreate, I wish she could do one more album as good as those ones)
Britney´s last good work was Blackout (I admit I loved Gimme more) but it had nothing to do with her.

  14. christinastherealtalent August 20, 2013

Um Britney, Monica has already been there and done that with the “All Eyes on Me” era…

    • Liam August 20, 2013

“All Eyes On Me” is the quote from the chorus on Scream & Shout

      • FAF August 20, 2013

and DEAD @ Monica has been there, honey thats a Tupac quote… Excited for Britney’s return

  15. MRB August 20, 2013

I hope Britney can get her dance moves back because since she had them kids her body looks of a 40 year old mom trying to get her groove back! I hope she can bring it back because the game misses Britney

    • North west stan August 20, 2013

      No it doesn’t.

      • Liam August 20, 2013

  16. The Perrylicious Is Taking Over… August 20, 2013

    this going to be massive!
She’s unpredictable…unlike Beyonce who always afraid to take a pop battle…and end up to be flopped.
    Go Britney!
I know the Pop Universe is preparing to be a s**** for you.

    • Beyhive August 21, 2013

Beyonce would kill britney if they went head to head. After all she’s been murdering Britney’s sales since 2003 😉

  17. chriastinastherealtalent August 20, 2013

    Liam

It doesnt matter. The whole “All Eyes On Me” thing is sooooo 90’s and been there done that already. Lets leave the revival of the 90’s era to Ariana Grande.

Her most personal to date? Britney says that with every CD she releases.

  18. queenbritney August 20, 2013

Yes queen slay she will slay hard this era

  19. JER August 20, 2013

DEATH if she debuts and goes to #1 while others get blocked by “Blurred Lines”

  20. How August 20, 2013

    It’s Britney B****!

  21. Mariah4Life August 20, 2013

Britney can’t carry a tune in a bucket with a lid on it. I would never abuse my ears with her nonsense. She almost makes Rihanna sound decent by comparison – almost.

    • CzarM August 20, 2013

Britney’s vapid fans don’t care nothing about the train wreck that is her voice. They follow her because she puts that voice on flaky toaster strudel music that gives them enough of a sugar buzz to queen out to, all while she dresses like Malibu Barbie. It’s not deep. Just imagine what an 8 year old girl’s motivation for liking a song is, and you have the average Britney fan.

    • JOHNVIDAL August 20, 2013

True! Not one word is wrong in your comment.

      • makeemmad August 20, 2013

b*tch why are up and down these comments hating….YOU A FAN OBVIOUS!!she cant hold a tune but you checking for her…….so im gonna need you to make ur way to the left(FAR) and exit the stage

      • irene46 August 21, 2013

czarm didn’t even lie. some call it ‘hating’ but it’s just injecting truth. britney fans “can’t handle the truth”.

  22. lolax August 20, 2013

Please Britney save the Pop Music the queen is back #cantwait

  23. FAF August 20, 2013

Glad she’s coming back I saw her IG post about the album “Coming sooner than ya think” x I love her pop songs, they are what pop should be, not redundant but always exciting production & catchy tunes. I just can’t with the try-hard EDM mess these newer girrals are pedaling. I mean “hold it against me,” “’til the world ends,” “criminal,” “circus” thats how it should be done

    • irene46 August 21, 2013

omg! “hold it against me” and “til the world ends?” even with severe effort you can’t get any more lame. you’ve definitely proven czarm’s point.

      • makeemmad August 22, 2013

girl ur posting on alot of comments.what you trying to prove?b*tch wheres ya point?u still gone listen to her music so have an seat!!clearly u know her singles…so swerve on

cant wait! Britney is always 1 step ahead with her music

  26. S****** Blonde August 20, 2013

SO many people pressed and scary because Britney will only make Gaga’s new era more difficult than already is, Rihanna needs to join the crime, i mean the game, a new album and the b**** would be over haha.

  27. iammusiclover August 20, 2013

    this should be good

  28. Navy Nick August 20, 2013
