Three years after he was arrested for attempt solicit an undercover female officer, ‘Your Precious Love’ performer D’Angelo has cancelled a string of US performances, citing a ‘medical emergency’ as his cause for doing so.

After cancelling dates in New York and Maryland last week, hours ago saw him axe more nights in Chicago, Minneapolis and San Diego, with his rep explaining:
“He expresses his sincere regret due to this unfortunate circumstance. More information is forthcoming.“
When quizzed on the nature of the emergency by the Chicago Tribune, his agent revealed:
“It’s serious, but he should be OK.“
Fortunately for concert goers, tickets to all the cancelled shows will be refunded, as fans await the release of the star’s third studio album, ‘James River’.
