  6. Crystal Brown September 17, 2013

How can Tamar be nominated for new artist, when she had an album out in 2000. That just does not make any sense. We all know Tamar is talented, but they got to do better, because we are no fools. I will always live for the 90s!

    • mk September 18, 2013

vince forgot that when he paid/.

  7. Rita ORA WILL BE DROPPED: she is DONE! September 17, 2013

SOOOOOO overjoyed for Fantasia, JANELLE MONAE, Tamar Braxton and Kelly Rowland! These four ladies have pushed contemporary R&B forward in their own individual ways and I’m glad they’re being recognised

  22. DIGGER BEY September 18, 2013

Congrats to every one! Especially Kelly Rowland, Brandy and Miguel! I see Miguel taking home 3 or more! The New Prince of R&B! Um….KING B didn’t release any material this year or last year. So why would she bey nominated? Yet again, she has these Miserable Pressed Bastards Bothered lmaoooooooooooooooooooooooooo. KING B doesn’t need anymore new nominations or awards. She already have more than anybody in her generation! #KEEP BOWING BISHES

  23. Zhari September 18, 2013

Congratulations Tamar!! Her hard work is paying off. Buying nominations? You people sound VERY stupid. The HATE is thick! First you say she won’t win any awards or grammy’s. Then when she’s nominated, she payed for them? “Her album is going to flop, she’ll barely sale 50k first week blah blah”.. 117k sold & with most being physical copies, with stores sold out everywhere- oh she bought all her albums. Haha! Y’all mad or naw? I guess next she’ll be buying her grammy’s and hell this whole damn music industry. No she isn’t a new artist, but neither is K.Michelle, or TGT. She’s here for the win, so y’all just gone stay mad!!

  24. yooooooooo (keristan) September 19, 2013

i love soul train awards because it recognises R&B/ soul artists 🙂 I would give ‘best new artist’ to K Michelle since she is kind of more new the tamar haha.’The Chaka Khan Best R&B/Soul Female Artist’ would have to got to Tamar Braxton, loving her!!! (but I really like Janelle monae heaps as well!!) for me ‘best album; is ‘side effects of you’ by fantasia. the songwriters award probably to ‘queens’ by Janelle because dayyuuummm I love that song, although ‘love and war’ is really good as well and ‘fire we make’. then ummm best dance performance of course ‘QUEEN’ by Janelle and ms Baduh! Best video probably QUeEN as well lol ‘love and war’ is good too. and best collaboration to ‘queen’ or ‘fire we make’. Anywho congrats to tamar, Janelle monae, k michelle, fantasia and Alicia keys. But where is keyshia cole and brandy???

  25. yooooooooo (keristan) September 19, 2013
