Watch: Jessie J Covers Taylor Swift’s ‘I Knew You Were Trouble’

Published: Thursday 19th Sep 2013 by Rashad

Is there anything Jessie J cannot sing?

If you think the answer is “yes”, then you sure haven’t heard her amazing covers of Rihanna‘s ‘We Found Love and Chris Brown‘s ‘Fine China’.  Now, it seems the songstress has her eyes on slaying another of pop’s most recent top hits.

In heavy promotion of her newest album ‘Wild’, Miss J dropped by BBC Radio 1′s Live Lounge today to lend an emotional rendition of Taylor Swift‘s ‘I Knew You Were Trouble’ – swiftly turning the song from a whiny pop mid-tempo to an acoustic soul session.

Did she do it justice?  We think so.  But, judge for yourself…

But Bow down of course is so ground breaking, and genius.

When Beyonce sang the lyrics, “respect that don’t forget it, bow down b******”, I was taken aback, such artistry, not see since the days of Mozart and Picasso, when will our favs?? **rolls eyes**

I can never take this song seriously because the whole time I’m just thinking “what S** did she get from him for her to know he was trouble”?

Too bad she can’t sing her own hit song

This is when Jessie sounds her best when she isn’t over singing and shrilling all over the place.
Now, although i cannot stand the skin, bones and flesh of Taylor Swift the faux country artist and certified h**, i actually liked this song but felt it was wasted with her vocals

Taylor is more talented than 99% of the h*** covered on this site. Fact.

This proves that Jessie J is a talented singer (when she tones it down with the runs) and Taylor Swift is a talented songwriter (when she tones it down with her lovelife dramas)
