Watch: The Saturdays Perform ‘Disco Love’ On Stepping Out

Published: Sunday 22nd Sep 2013 by Sam

Brit Pop belles The Saturdays have stretched out the campaign out for their latest album ‘Living For The Weekend‘ to almost one year – and the LP is still not out yet.

Still, with a date finally in-sight (October 14th), the ladies are pressing on with promo for the single that’ll usher in the project’s release – ‘Disco Love’.

Sans member Frankie Sandford (who is currently on maternity leave), the group took to the stage on ITV’s Stepping Out this weekend to perform the Pop anthem.

Watch Rochelle, Vanessa and co in action below…

Not bad. In fact, we’d say “decent” which is as much as one’ll get with the ladies (as endearing as they may be). That said, it’s a shame that when they finally learn how to sing and dance in unison and with a sprinkle of diva (hello, Rochelle), it’s for such a cheesy song.

Still, for some inexplicable reason, their brand of mozzarella is one we enjoy the taste of.

Amen, The Saturdays have always been very “knock off Danity Kane” to me with a little less talent. Vaness and Rochelle are the equivalent to Dawn and Aundrea. While the other three in DK are talented, Una is really the only other with talent. She reminds me of Shannon. I was into The Saturdays because they were DK lite or diet DK but now that the original is back, they’re second on the list. I’ll still listen to the album until the new DK album comes out.

Vanessa’s voice is back!!! Thank goodness. Rochelle is fabulous as always. Mollie gives me Baby Spice teas as does Frankie when she’s with them. Where was this kind of performing when they were promoting “What About Us?”? And am I the only one thinking they need to release “Not Giving Up” or “Somebody Else’s Life” before the album comes out? And is the US release still happening after they bombed here or what?

that was cute. I like them, but like the first comment said… I’m now here for DK. But I still enjoy the sats. Frankie may be the most popular member but she has always been the weakest link in the group, this performance showed just that. When Una and later on Rochelle was on maternity leave the group sounded weaker and was clearly missing a member. Now Frankie is gone and they sound better. I do like Frankie, she is pretty, but the weakest vocalist and dancer in the group.

This is their best performance this era.Thank God this song was not auto tuned, because every time they sing a song live, that is auto tuned they sound a mess.Vanessa voice sounds better because she got her confidence back after she lost all that weight.
