Yaaaaaaaaaaaassssssssss!!!! Pure slayage. Her album is so damn good. Top 5 of the year for sure. Plus she is so good live. Any performance of “Cold War” for example is like… feels like we are in that era when music leading artists were huge and uber talented.
My fave tracks: “Do what you want”, “we were Rock & Roll” and “what an experience”.

I thought it was all hype for an upcoming,independent artist when I first heard about Janelle Monae. That was until I listened to her albums.She really is as great as I heard she was. She has the type of album I listen to from beginning to end.I liked both Archandroid and Electric Lady.The entire albums.
I do NOT like her clothes though.More specifically those all black or all white pants she wears. I don’t like them at all. The black and white isn’t so bad but the pants with those boots NO.I just can’t. I don’t think she should change for me I just hate her pants and boots I really do.
and those things on her hands suck too.I just like her music.
