Published: Thursday 3rd Oct 2013 by David

Keyshia Cole‘s latest album ‘Woman To Woman’ finds itself resuscitated today, given a healthy dose of promotional fresh air with the release of its new video, ‘I Choose You‘.

Penned by ‘XOX’ performer  Elijah Blake, and originally recorded by Jennifer Hudson and Mary J.Blige, the song took centre stage when Cole arrived at BET’s ‘106 & Park’ to debut its video, which is now available to enjoy right here on That Grape Juice!

  4. Damo October 3, 2013

if she wants this to go to number one she needs to re- record it as a duet with Michelle Williams, imagine that!

  6. cocobutta October 3, 2013

    Who she choosing??

To the left with this strike a pose video..

Keyshia usually has video’s that at least match the song (even if not acted out exactly)

She looks real nice though BUT….

3 platinum albums. At least Keyshia doesn’t try to stay “mainstream” and failing at it like beyawnce old white woman lookin ass

      • I Will Adorn You October 3, 2013

Cos a household name like Beyonce can fail at being mainstream. Yeah that makes a lot of sense

      • BitchPlease October 3, 2013

And a Gold one & this cd it self is almost Gold..how many in Today’s r&b can say that..

    • Carpe Diem. October 3, 2013

She’s not really that much of a flop! If she’s selling out concerts in both the UK and US! What other R&B Female singer is doing that other than the obvious! Give the girl her props and keep it moving! Cut the hate it cute boo!

  15. Xtina warrior October 3, 2013

  16. Hot Sugar October 3, 2013

  17. HOWYOULIKEIT October 3, 2013

Too bad cuz she just broke up with her husband. who is she choosing now? And the video is kinda boring for a song this powerful

  18. JV October 3, 2013

I love the song… love keyshia… love some parts of the video… but the some parts were kinda off.

    • Xtina warrior October 3, 2013

i think the video should have been in Color.

  19. Dastarkid October 3, 2013

Jennifer Hudson did! She was the first person to record this song and she killed it this could have been her number 1 hit. They Jennifer sounding more clear and less s**** like and it was out of this world would have brought you to tears. For some reason the producer didn’t want her to have the song smh and Jennifer poured her heart and soul into this song you could feel every word. It was like hearing a stronger version of You Gonna Love Me!

  20. IKNOWTHETRUTH October 3, 2013

Mariah Carey, Mary J. Blige, and Jennifer Hudson all had this before Keyshia. While I love Keyshia’s version, this could have pumped new life into all of their careers. This is the type of song they all need to be singing, especially Mariah and Mary. On another note, Keyshia apparently co-wrote it with Elijah or put her own spin on it once it got to her and it came out nicely. Elijah Blake does amazing work. I would have loved to hear him over it as well. But, I liked Keyshia’s video. Didn’t love it. I feel this is where a “Trust And Believe” movie type of video should have come in. I hope “Get It Right” and “Woman To Woman” are the next singles! I won’t hold my breath. “Zero” could have been a huge hit for her too. Glad she’s reunited with Manny!

Did anyone else notice the Jeezy look alike? Just thought I’d point that out ;).

  22. DaBestest October 3, 2013

Thanx Nicki for making these other high yellow chicks think they can successully rock platinum hair with dark roots.

  23. Eddie October 3, 2013

Keyshia was out way before nicki so dont what your talking about all nicki is good at is copying people so

    • channel_ROMAN October 4, 2013

You’re all defensive for what? He didnt’t say Keyshia copied Nicki. Making unnecessary beef.

  24. denise black October 3, 2013

    hot song

  25. Hmm? Yea, ok October 3, 2013

I like the song, the video isn’t all that bad.
Woman 2 Woman was such a better album than Calling all hearts.
Someone said Tamar and K.Michelle were taking her place but neither one of them have platinum records or anything better than a Top 10 or 20.
K.Michelle can sing but Keyshia sounds better on record than she does, while K sounds better live(minus Keyshia’s trust and believe on Black Girls Rock)
Tamar sings better than both but her vocals are a maybe especially after the iTunes festival.

  26. yooooooooo (keristan) October 3, 2013

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSS KEYSHIA!!!!!! This and ‘signature’ are probably my faves off that album. And ‘trust and believe’ was really good as well. I love the emotion and big vocals in this song, she sounds AMAZING!! Video is nice but her team waited way too long to release it imo 🙁

  27. channel_ROMAN October 4, 2013

    Where’s STUBBORN tho?

  28. mezzy October 5, 2013

Love the song. One of the best on the album but I was disappointed with the video. It hasn’t done the song justice. Couldn’t they come up with a better storyline? Smfh.

Cage: What was the reason you got thrown out of the Hilton in Shreveport.

He did some of his very, very best work as an expatriate.
If you are lucky enough to be a Hilberry season ticket holder, you’ll love seeing the actors you loved from such plays as ‘Macbeth’
and ‘Othello’ flex their comic muscle.
