Rihanna is respectively a pop legend, I really like her music, she edgy and fun. But Beyoncé is also respectively a legend. As Beyoncé has already said “there is room for more than one queen in this world”. The only thing I prefer about Beyoncé is, is versitality. She can release a song like single ladies, or crazy in love, or baby boy, or irreplaceable and they will go to number 1, but she can also release songs like halo, if I were a boy, me myself and I, love on top etc and they will chart top aswell. I f you listen to a Beyoncé album, such as her latest album 4 (released in 2011) , every song is really passionate, such as I miss you, start over, 1+1, I care, I was here etc…. Rihanna’s latest album unapologetic, wasn’t like that, almost every song was mainly aimed at being a chart topper, such as nobody’s business, right now, pour it up etc…. And this is the reason that Rihanna has released 7 albums and only one of them has ever gone to number 1, yet every single Beyoncé album has debuted at number 1 on the day of release. And that is also why beyonce only has to release an album every 2-3 years and Rihanna has to release one every year, it’s because Rihanna is easy to forget. This I also why beyonces first ever chart topping single was released 16 years ago! I seriously doubt Rihanna will have a number 1 album and number 1 singles in 2022 and still then have many years of being a music legend after that! I really don’t care wether beyonces new song and album goes to number 1, I only care if the songs on that album are true and honest. Any singer can get someone to write them music and get someone to make a song for them and then simply contribute their vocals (which are edited, just saying haha) and then get approval off their record label that the album is “suitable” for the charts… Not that that is necessarily a descraseful thing to do, That’s just what makes most singers singers and usually makes them successful on the charts. But it really really takes more than that to be an artist! That’s why beyonce is an icon, that’s why she’s worth over 1 billion dollars, that’s why she sold out her world tour in under a minute without a single top ten song since in 4/5 years and that’s why her career is still strong as it is even 16 years into her career. She has everything, an amazingly successful marriage, a beautiful daughter, her voice is incomparable to 99% of other major artists! she has dance moves that inspire and that will live on for decades (such as single ladies and she was twerking ten years ago In her crazy in love music video), she’s beautiful inside and out, immense chart success and everything…. All of this is exactly why lady gags said on live television ” Beyoncé represents the dream!). Sorry this is just my opinion and I have cold hard facts to back up that my opinion Is very good. F**k having a number 1 single! Bloody gangnam style and Cher Lloyd’s swagger jagger went to number 1. Yet are they better than Beyoncé? Bey all the way!
