No doubt hoping doing so will push its opening week sales predictions, the icon’s decision to place on the LP on the digital outlet today comes almost a year after producers Pharrell Williams, DarkChild and Danja had been linked to it.
Alas, none of the above made the cut, but may be impressed with the direction the performer heads in with the release.

This album is so much more than I was expecting. Work B**** shouldn’t have been the first single. Britney’s team needs to release Tik Tik Boom as the next single. Britney Jean is so different from any other Britney album and I love it. OMG. Queen. Slayed.

This is fantastic. Didn’t expect it to sound this good judging from the clips we’ve heard some weeks ago. Alien, Body Ache, Tik Tik Boom, Till It’s Gone and Don’t Cry sound absolutely incredible. The rest is good.

Honestly…i am a big Britney fan….and i had so much hope lsot…Work B-tch, Perfume…it all put me off…and then today…i played it and WOW…it is actually a really great album…it has personality…it feels in vibe sonically like a mix of Robyn/Charli XCX together…punky pop/Electronica feels it does fel like an inbetweeny of Blackout and In The Zone…and Till its gone and Passenger i think are two of the best sonvs she has recorded…Body Ache is very very good, Alien is better in final production…kudos to Billy Bubbles <3 for bringing that trademark spark there that he and Madonna create so well together….Britney Jean is not a typical "masterpeice" but it is a Pop album with MANY surprises and twists…its feel good, its dark, its emotional, and it gets sadly cut short at the end…i want more BJ! ;)…..cannot wait to hear the three deluxe songs….but out of the 10 songs on the album….only 2 (which are the singles ronically) i am lukewarm to…the rest i really love!….9/10 superb effort Britney…i never should have doubted ya!

What a disappointment … they always say it is better to make an album with some very good songs rather than an album with many average ones. But in this case, this quote does not apply. What has happened? I thought this album was the most personal of her career but it must be a joke. Aside from Alien, Perfume and Passenger, the rest is largely poor and worse than Femme Fatale (which is excellent and deserved more consideration from critics). This album sounds like a sloppy job filled with electro sounds just to be fashionable. But it doesn’t work, this album lacks of soul and depth.
