This album is overdue. I don’t care about jack s*** because last year this time a couple of singles should’ve been out. Beyonce release that single name date & artwork and slay.
Cool, sounds exciting. I love “On the Run” so if this is even better it must be huge!
She needs Jay’s name to get that promo rolling after the year she’s had struggling to release new music.
Just like Jay collaborated with Kanye and Justin Timberlake and vice versa and Eminem used Rihanna and vice versa. Gaga tried to use R. Kelly to give her R&B credibility. I guess she thought if Adele could have success with soul music, she could make a similar impact with R&B. No artist is above trying to use collaborations to double or increase their exposure. Sometimes it works, some times it doesn’t. For Beyonce it worked with D.I.L. but not with B’day since Irreplaceable turned out to be the jumpstart single for that album as opposed to the first release, De Ja Vu. Either way, to equate collaborations with desperation is like saying that most artists have been desperate at some point because most have used them from time to time, no matter how big of a solo artist they are.
