Having hit the 3x Platinum mark with ‘Roar’, Pop force Katy Perry embraces the cinematic in the video for follow-up ‘Unconditionally’.

The Dr Luke produced cut, which has thus far peaked at #21 on the Billboard Hot 100, is the second to be lifted from the singer’s third studio album ‘Prism’ and looks poised to be a solid-sized hit once its visual is put in heavy rotation.

Not Katy shitting on the Gaga the ‘album seller’

  6. Rosie November 14, 2013

Meanwhile Dope debuts with 31,000 copies sold.
T***** stans can brag about it being #8 on the Billboard Hot 100 as much as they want but we all know the only reason it’s even charting is because of streaming from that flop YouTube awards show. It’ll drop out of the charts next week.
That makes Unconditionally look like Blurred Lines. Another L for Flopga.

Why is gaga mentioned here? Sells has nothing to do with quality!

      • Patti labelle is 69 years old and still sings live. What’s Mariah’s excuse? November 14, 2013

BUT GAGA IS THE BIGGEST POPSTAR IN RHE WORLD REMEMBER? KATY IS A SINGLES ARTIST YET SHE OUTSOLD GAGA AND MOORIAH

      • Common Sense November 14, 2013

You’re right, album sales have nothing to do with quality. Unfortunately for Gaga she’s neither selling albums nor putting out quality work according to Metacritic. She currently holds a 61/100 score there.

  7. Common Sense November 14, 2013

Why hasn’t TGJ posted Gaga’s new HDD preditions for Artflop decreasing to 220k-240k? It’s another 200+ comment story waiting to happen.

    • Rosie November 14, 2013

HOLY SH!T. I DIDN’T EVEN SEE THAT. LMAO, EMINEM’S GUARANTEED NUMBER 1 NOW.
Not to mention Chartflop now has the same Metacritic score as the “critically-panned” Born To Die. But like I said a million times, it won’t sell half as much as Lana worldwide, and it probably won’t even outsell it in the US.
Poor T*****. Her career is dead for real.

      • Common Sense November 14, 2013

But Gaga is an album seller not a singles seller remember? Only the Queen of Pop could sell less singles and albums than a lesser generic girl like Katy Perry!

      • HH November 14, 2013

sadly he is only expected to sell 200-220k but I know it will increase!! I cant wait to see the meltdowns!

      • Royal November 14, 2013

You guys are sad! How much money do you make? Stop using peoples accomplishments for the ones you lack. Bet you people don’t hold a job!
Live your own life, stay positive and stop being negative towards others!

    • Patti labelle is 69 years old and still sings live. What’s Mariah’s excuse? November 14, 2013

STILL MORE THEN THE ART OF LETTING GO OF MY CAREER

      • Common Sense November 14, 2013

LOL 5 years into Mariah’s career she was selling 25 million albums with Daydream though…

  8. Patti labelle is 69 years old and still sings live. What’s Mariah’s excuse? November 14, 2013

    BETTER THAN MANRIAH

    • Common Sense November 14, 2013

B**** please. Stay thirsty for Mariah all day every day. Look at the top commented story on TGJ. Always Mariah. And yes Mariah lips sometimes, but when she does sing live she blows away the rest industry PAST, PRESENT, AND FUTURE.

      • Patti labelle is 69 years old and still sings live. What’s Mariah’s excuse? November 14, 2013

B**** CROAKS MORE THAN THE BUDWEISER FROG PLAYBACK QUEEN LMFAOOOOL

  9. Patti labelle is 69 years old and still sings live. What’s Mariah’s excuse? November 14, 2013

LMAO GAGA MAY SELL LESS THAN UNAPOLOGETIC THE TEAAARRRSSSSS

  10. BEYSUS OVER JESUS November 14, 2013

4 is an R&B album that got higher first week sales than 2 Pop albums. Prism slays. ARTFLOP is too generic. Beyonce is on her way to recover the music industry.

    • Ms.Campbell November 14, 2013

      Your name is blasphemy!

      REPENT, REPENT!!!!!

For a second I forgot this was a katy Perry article with all the irrelevant comments.
-___-. Prism slayed/slays, and unconditionally will be a classic. It’s simple yet has beautiful, memorable lyrics.

  16. JOHNVIDAL November 15, 2013

Her sound is so basic that I still can´t believe some people buy anything with her name on it. Music industry these days…
