  21. BIGGESTAALIYAHFAN December 7, 2013

Happy with the list. Congratulations to all. Surprised J. Cole only received 1 nomination. his album was REALLY good.

  22. Molly December 7, 2013

Baby Ciara has grammys Lana dont hahaha. lana aint winning s*** it dont matter cuh.

  23. BIGGESTAALIYAHFAN December 7, 2013

I forgot about Brandy thank you for the reminder.

  24. Rosie December 7, 2013

Like I said a million times, Cierror probably hasn’t seen that Grammy since it was awarded because it’s perched at Missy Elliot’s. At least if Lana wins it’ll actually be her Grammy.
Can’t wait for Young & Beautiful to win Best Original Song at the Oscars next year!

  25. B**** I Can’t Even Spell Welfare December 7, 2013

I really want Kendrick to win one (or two) ! 🙂

Congrats to Fantasia, Lalah Hathaway (flawless), Tamar, Lana, Bey, Kanye, Vampire Weekend, Tame Impala, Queens of the Stone Age, Rihanna, and Disclosure.

  26. Flopause December 7, 2013

    Thank god …. no Gaga.

    KIIIIII

  27. Rosie December 7, 2013

@B**** I Can’t Even Spell Welfare flawless taste tbh

  28. FutureCIARA December 7, 2013

Its NO SHADE, Ciara didn’t need any Grammy nominations, For me, Knowing that her ass is hard at work on re-branding and that next album is all I need right now.

The other Csquad members can be disappointed, but i’m far from it. Its just simply not her year for Grammys, and there are TONS of artist that should be up there but aren’t.

And with that said, You put hard work in, then you will be rewarded.

Now as for Lana stans coming for Ciara, its a little premature…. LANA HASNT WON ANYTHING YET. So keep it really cute, because we all know she wont be going home with any Grammys let alone a Best Dressed on the Red Carpet.

Now I am however, very happy for Ciara’s other label mates Tamar, And Sara Barielles. This doesn’t go unnoticed for the EPIC label, The Label that everyone dogs and undermines. The label that ya’ll said was going bankrupt and going to shut down.

These nominations makes 4 Grammy’s for EPIC label artist if I’m not mistaken.

So you queens can still seethe!!!!

  29. Slayty Perry (Who You Love) December 7, 2013

Congrats to Katy for her two nominations. The Grammys lost credibility back when they let Taylor Swift win more Grammys than Xtina or Mariah Carey. I want Katy to win one solely for the sake of bragging rights. They have no correlation to quality music or talent. Notice how Ariana Grande got paid dust even though she sings better than everyone nominated? Yet Taylor Swift got more noms. I suspect next year will be Katy’s big year with Prism and Unconditionally being eligible for noms. Side note: I am dying at the meltdowns from Gags and Miley stans!! Maybe next year

  30. iconic cici December 7, 2013

Wtf Ciara deserve a nomination for BODY PARTY! Smh Rihanna w**** ass getting nominated again? she must suck some good d***. And wtf Lana wack ass over gaga. IM OVER THE GRAMMYS.

  31. Beeyonced December 7, 2013

WHATEVER HAPPENED TO MUSIC, SERIOUSLY!??!?!? WTF are these ppl?!?!??

  32. Rosie December 7, 2013

At it admitting it’s fave is a flop.
    The excuses.

  33. The one December 7, 2013

Not tamar getting more nominated awards than Katy and Rihanna Lmao

  34. Flopause December 7, 2013

Roar is nominated…Applause is being snubbed.

    OMFG !!!

  35. FutureCIARA December 7, 2013

The real congratulations go towards FANTASIA!!!!!!!

Who is slaying the R&B nomees with a flawless yet underrated album.

I hope Zedd wins Best Dance Recording.

Congrats also to Katy Perry who snuck in there, ROAR was a big record.

But this night will be LORDE’s night!

Now theres a lot of Fuckery that goes on at the Grammys, BUT, Lana wont win a damn thing! Mark My Words!

  36. The Struggling Is Real, too December 7, 2013

    The snubs are real….

    Lady Gaga
    Mariah Carey
    Nicki Minaj
    Ciara
    Miley
    Bieber
    One Directions

    😀

  37. The one December 7, 2013

Lorde and Tamar will win all their awards while Lana Rihanna and Katy will win NON!

  38. GRUMP December 7, 2013

Um but she only released one official single this year? Why would the grammy’s nominate her without an album?

  39. The one December 7, 2013

Lmao the grammys played tf outta of Miley and im glad their not associating with that trash.

  40. Slayty Perry (Who You Love) December 7, 2013

@The One Roar was Katy’s only eligible song for nomination. 2 nominations out of 3 submissions isn’t bad. Be seated and hope Tamar’s husband can pull some strings for her to win.

  41. Rosie December 7, 2013

Yas at Clarity. Lemme go stan Foxes.
Borde will win one at the most. She has extremely tough competition in every category she’s nominated.
I’m honestly not expecting Lana to win Best Pop Vocal Album (too much competition) but I’d love to see the meltdowns if she pulls a Fist Brown-winning-Best R&B Album upset, especially on this blog.

  42. Lol December 7, 2013

Did Kelly trampland get nominated? did Keyshia cole get nominated did Miley Gaga Nicki Ariana or Britney? Lmao

    Taylor coming for h***

    P.S. whos Lana?

  43. kai2dashawn December 7, 2013

Umm…. check again Rihanna is nominated in the best Urban contemporary album for Unapologetic

  44. Lol December 7, 2013

Rihanna doesn’t deserve nominations and niether does Katy.

  45. GRUMP December 7, 2013

I don’t know why people keep bringing up Mariah Carey’s name like she’s competing with these young girls, she is passed her prime. Grammy’s snubbed her at her prime, what makes you think she will get nominated now? Still more successful than all your faves doe so y’all can keep trying. AIWFCIY AND MC ARE TOP 20 ON ITUNES 19 YEARS AFTER ITS RELEASE.

  46. Lady Gaga December 7, 2013

    Don’t worry Little Monsters

I am no longer worried bout sales and awards. I make music just for you

so the fact that my album is falling on every chart around the world and i am irrelevant, doesn’t bother me.

  47. My Forehead Tho December 7, 2013

The Grammys stay f****** J. Cole over. He had one of the best, if not the best, rap album of the year yet still didn’t get a nom for it. He deserved it over Kanye imo

And dead @ the Grammys still finding a way to nominate Beyonce….

  48. FutureCIARA December 7, 2013

There are some really good Christian and Gospel artist’s being nominated as well, But where TF is Tamela Mann nomination. They tried her!

Imagine Dragons might win that category.

Congrats Kendrick and Jayz & Beyonce

But i’ll be happy when Drake and Kanye are paid dust!

Justin Timberlake needs to have SEVERAL!

And Mackelmore is LAME AF!! His entire career is based upon him riding the backs of the LGBT community to be known as the first “Out Gay White Male Rapper” His gimmick is Tired and alot of people fall for it! But his music is generic and they call it “In tune with the times” Give me a FUCKINN BREAK!

  49. ILOVEJAMESDEAN December 7, 2013

    My bets:

Album of the Year – Blessed Unrest (Sara Bareilles)
Song of the Year – Just Give Me A Reason (P!nk ft. Nate Ruess)
Record of the Year – Radioactive (Imagine Dragons)
Best New Artist – Kendrick Lamar

  50. MC!!! December 7, 2013

happy for tamar but ariana was snubbed and well the grammys never liked mariah so…I just thing the rap nominations are a piece of s***!! its always the same people nominated every single year!!! they give grammys out like candy!

  51. cake like lady gaga December 7, 2013

Kiiiiiii at Lorde, a 17 year old mopping the floor at the grammys with Lana’s weave..

    DEAD!!!

  52. Anne December 7, 2013

I’m sorry but I disagree, I don’t think Ciara was snubbed at all. They can only nominate five artists in each category. For each possible category that Ciara could have been nominated in there were five better contenders at least. That’s why she doesn’t have any nominations. Makes perfect since in my opinion, her songs/album just are nomination worthy considering the limited number of contenders.

  53. Skyfall December 7, 2013

I’m so happy for Tamar Braxton I see her taking home best AC album
    And record of the year.

  54. Rosie December 7, 2013

    Once again:
Awfulause: submittted for 4 Grammys, nominated for 0
Take a stadium full of seats.

  55. Lovebird (Britney Jean – OUT NOW) December 7, 2013

Uhhhmmmm are we sure this is the Grammy’s or the TEA and SHADE convention because b**** these nominations are shady as hell.

I cannot wait for the Grammy’s, I can smell the SHADE from a mile away, I cannot.

  56. cake like lady gaga December 7, 2013

And NOT at Part 2 (on the run) getting nominated when the song isn’t even a released single… I wonder how much TROLLyonce paid this time round. Chances are she and her camel are gonna win that grammy, even though its not an official single.

The grammys have no more credibility left!!!!

  57. FutureCIARA December 7, 2013

@Rosie don’t get your hopes up,

Kii at you admitting she has NO chance of winning BEST POP VOCAL ALBUM, Because of the “Competition”……..

    Your a disgrace Ms.Thing HAHA!

But atleast I can appreciate your honesty, Even though I told you first!

But we do have a liking for Clarity in common, Zedd better SLAAAAAY!

  58. Amanda Bynes December 7, 2013

Lady Gaga deserves a Grammy for FLOP Album of the Year.

  59. Tyler December 7, 2013

@flopbird no nominations for Nicki again Lmao

  60. FutureCIARA December 7, 2013

You folks should take note, The Grammy’s DON’T JUST give away Grammys to songs that have been RELEASED as singles……….

    Im Just Saying.

That Jayz & Beyonce song just happened to be on one of the BEST soundtracks of the year!!! #TheGreatGatsby

And the movie was not bad at all either, In fact I loved #TheGreatGatsby and the soundtrack slaaays…… #OSCAR nominations Hellooooooo

  61. cake like lady gaga December 7, 2013

DEAD at the canadian transgender busy trolling TGJ at ungodly hours of the morning when it should be out there looking for Lana’s missing grammys..

Did u check under the bed?? Also try looking inside the fridge.

  62. Marcus December 7, 2013

@CakeLikeLadyGaga Jay & Bey Are Planning On Releasing Part II(On The Run)As The 3rd Single From MCHG Soon With A Music Video As Well. So That’s Why The Song Is Nominated.

  63. Lovebird (Britney Jean – OUT NOW) December 7, 2013

Dying at the fact Nicki didn’t get any feature nomination for the 30 songs she’s been on this year but Missy Elliott did hahahahahahahahaha god is REAL
    .

  65. Arie December 7, 2013

They completely snubbed Diamonds by Rihanna. That Jayz album doesn’t deserve that many noms. The only way that’s gonna save these awards is if they get dope performers.

  66. kai2dashawn December 7, 2013

I can browse the internet at whatever time I want to, a**. I’m the one paying for my wifi bill, not you.
Meanwhile I’m pretty sure it’s a national day of mourning in your country for Nelson Mandela but you’re locked in your Soweto shanty house perched on TGJ.
Lana Del Rey – 3 nominations
    Lady Gaga – 0 nominations
The final punch of death to F***’s career. It is official now. Lana Del Rey is the new queen of Interscope.

  68. Pinky December 7, 2013

Diamonds deserve a nomination not boring ass stay.

  69. Flop Like Lady Gaga December 7, 2013

    “Gaga for the Grammys 2015”

Pressed Monsters are starting the melt-down already.

  70. eh eh December 7, 2013

  71. Skyfall December 7, 2013

Artist that should be on here.

Ariana Grande – Best New Artist
    Ciara – Best R&B Song
Janelle Monae – Best R&B Album / Best R&B song
One Direction – Best Group/Duo (don’t judge me)

  72. cake like lady gaga December 7, 2013

but the real kiiii is that Lana Drunk Rey will leave empty handed on the night..

She should’ve saved that $986525841235m she paid to her plastic surgeon because she could’ve used it now to at least buy one grammy for herself

But how is that search party coming along? Any luck of finding those missing grammys???

  73. FutureCIARA December 7, 2013

That was Shady that they nominated Katy and Paid GAGA….. Damn, I guess Katy truly won that era.

Ariana had a #1 album, But honestly I agree with the Grammy’s, Shes not Grammy ready yet… She needs to change her look, I promise you if she cuts all that hair off that shes been growing since she was a baby, thats what will make people pay attention to her adolescent appearance.

I like Miley, but im glad shes not nominated either.

This is truly LORDE’s year, and Epic Label Artist Sara B. might win Album Of The Year….

  74. Pinky December 7, 2013

feel bad for gaga, Katy totally outshines her these days.

  75. cake like lady gaga December 7, 2013

@TROLLbird is probably a Malawi f*** who is in South Africa for his university studies.

Hasn’t your annual study permit expired tho?? But if my home was in Malawi, I would also squat illegally in a rundown shack in South Africa, rather that than going to Malawi.

Well I will be sending the immigration officers to your shack so they can deport u back to Malawi. There is no internet in Malawi, so you won’t be able to troll us for a very long time 🙂

  76. FutureCIARA December 7, 2013

You girls always coming for Ms.Swift

I like the little cuntt, Nobody can take her, Not even the old ass washed artist in her own genre…..

Taylor continues to re-define Country Music as we know it.

Give the girl props, Although I agree a break is much needed for her.

  77. eh eh December 7, 2013

Expect Gaga’s meldown on Twitter today…

  78. overdose December 7, 2013

Lana doesn’t deserve a nom imo she can’t really sing and is boring as f***

im glad the attention whores aka GaGa and Miley got zero noms

uhm im just sick of Rihanna getting noms

Ciara should have got a nom but whatever she just won a soul train award so im not bothered.

    Congratulations LORDE, FANNY AND KENDRICK.

  83. Rosie December 7, 2013

Zzz @ Fake Like T***** Gaga’s stale reads, more dated than Chartflop.
I’m trying to stay up but it’s struggle is putting me to sleep. All of its posts consist of “Lana plastic surgery,” “Lana del drunk,” “Lana has no Grammys (kii since F*** was completely snubbed and will never get nominated again like the fad she is),” and “LOL South African King!!!! My impact!!!”
I’m going to stop replying to it now, I am doing it a favor since this is the only way it will leave his shanty.

  116. Lovebird (Britney Jean – OUT NOW) December 7, 2013

B****, you couldn’t even afford Artpop at $4.99 on Amazon, what makes you think you’ll be able to support your fav at a ticket price of $35 if she doesn’t fake a brain injury this time.

  119. cake like lady gaga December 7, 2013

When GaGa was in SA I was there to support her.. Unlike your poor azzz that can’t even afford a basic seated ticket for $34, I got myself a golden circle ticket for $85…

Now tell me, why didn’t you support your fave when she was in your backyard??

  120. Lovebird (Britney Jean – OUT NOW) December 7, 2013

Not Gags having a banner on Ticket Master for Artpop Ball and yet VIP package is still available with lots of tickets still available for sale.

  121. Rosie December 7, 2013

    iTunes US:
    72. Lana Del Rey – Body Electric
See, this is how you make a short film to promote you music and get the GP to buy it. An album track from a year old Grammy-nominated EP slaying. It actually went up two spots in the past few minutes.

  122. Rosie December 7, 2013

    Lovebird better drag IT though.

  123. cake like lady gaga December 7, 2013

Why didn’t you support your fave when she was in SA though? Instead you chose to troll TGJ while she performed to empty seats. Why did u do that???

  124. Lovebird (Britney Jean – OUT NOW) December 7, 2013

That’s funny, my fav had a bigger attendance than Gags in South Africa.

Why is the VIP package for ArtPop Ball still available on Ticket Master, even with a Giant Artpop Ball Banner on the Ticket Master website?

  125. Skyfall December 7, 2013

Feeling thirsty, feel free to sip this tea I’m about to serve.

Gaga is a schizophrenic flop b****, ArtPoop has bees been discounted since
Release and now the b**** is giving it away free with Artwave.
B**** has pulled every move in the book and still can’t Concieve a #1
Single. The only reason Artpoop was #1 was because interscope
Slowed shipping of The Marshal Mathers. And within 2 weeks it’s fallen out
Of the top 20s, at least Adele has 8 Grammies,21 is the longest number 1 album in history
By a female for 23 weeks and is the fourth best selling album of the past 10 years
    When will Gaga?

  126. cake like lady gaga December 7, 2013

But why didn’t you go the concert though? She was performing in Soweto and u also live in Soweto, but u didn’t bother supporting her. Instead u let her perform to empty seats

BTWB was soldout both in JHB and CPT, and I can say I was there in the golden circle to support Queen Gaga..

And stop lying, the Artpop ball tickets go on sale on 9 Dec.. Where do u get all these fake reciepts though? You credibility is as good as that of the grammys and AMA, its non existent

  127. Ty Ty ( Ghetto Gothic Dance Queen) December 7, 2013

Must suck to stan for gaga these days..

  128. put your EBT card away, and pull that STAn card out h**! December 7, 2013

  133. Alex December 7, 2013

WHERE THE F*** IS KELLY ROWLAND.

  134. anonymous December 7, 2013

Oh please. Get over it. Tamar is just a better vocalist than Ciara. are you that bitter over this woman. she got nominated because it was a great song with great vocal performance. Just because you dont like her music doesnt mean nobody else does either. Even K Michelle complemented Tamars music. As for ciara, lets be honest. Ciara has never been that great of a singer. I Believe she’s a better dancer than singer which is why Im not surprised she got snubbed because her music is not on the grammy level. The only Grammy she has ever won was for a music video. shes just not grammy material. think about all the artists of the past who have been nominated, Mariah carey, Whitney Houston, Aretha franklin, ect. shes not on their level of talent.

  135. gilbert December 7, 2013

in related news….. BEYONCE IS NOW OFFICIALLY THE MOST-NOMINATED FEMALE IN GRAMMY HISTORY WITH OVER 46 NOMINATIONS! WOOOHOOO slay queen b <3 the things you've accomplished without a single, album, etc. CLASS ACT!

  136. mk December 7, 2013

so na tip toe na tip toe got a nom? f*** this grammys indeed! labels shld purchase their artsists albums if they want grammys n to fool ppl into buyin their artsist music.

  137. Navyreign December 7, 2013

grammy’s always snubs here there anyway!! but props gotta be given wheres due that b**** beyonce just be sittin’ back those past years yet she still has those huge endrosement a 150mill tour and grammy’s nod every year that how u know u on top when u do not need to do much to stay relevant and make dough Rihanna should take note and be more focus less party and more hustle

  138. KING B December 7, 2013

beyonce made history by being the nominated female with 46 nomination HAHAHAH u B****** WILL DEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAl

  139. Evanesims December 7, 2013

ARTPOP passed the deadline which is Sep 1st. It may be nominated next year.

  140. BEYHIVE_MINAJ December 7, 2013

So proud of Macklemore and Kendrick Lamar. They deserve all those nominations. Sucks that eminem’s MMLP2 missed the deadline. Honestly,it’s the best album that has come out this year IMO. I’m sure it would be an obvious win if it was nominated, like recovery(another masterpiece). But I’m sure it will be nominated in 2015. At least Magna Carter Holy Grail is nominated. The 2nd best this year.

  141. MISHKA December 7, 2013

Most of those snubs are surprising but quite understandable. Except for one or two artists, I don’t remember any stellar music coming from any of those who got ignored.

All those who put any credible work got nominated: Taylor Swift, Justin Timberlake, Jay-Z, Drake, Tamar Braxton, Bruno Mars and Pharell. Each artist deserves at least one win.

Taylor Swift might win Album of The Year again. Well deserved this time around.

I feel bad for Ariana but she’ll be back, for sure. Miley, too. Selena is a cutie but she needs to find the right register for that “voice”.

Lady Gaga and Kanye West need go to rehab or something. We are officially bored with your antics and tantrums.

  142. gio88 December 7, 2013

talk a good game deserved a nomination ! but as a always grammy awards not quality but SUCCESS.

  143. *ℙᏫℙ ℝᏫᎩAℒᎿᎩ* December 7, 2013

    I can’t at those comments, So entertaining. 😥 😆

  145. TAYLOR SWIFTS NUMBER 1 FAN!!! December 7, 2013

    Wow well done Taylor Swift.
She must should win best album of the year, because it’s great and I think overall, it seems like a weak category.

  147. FAF December 7, 2013

Well… I´m impressed by these grammy nominations. Of course it´s impossible to agree with everything. But hey, they had the guts to leave Rihanna and her Diamonds (probably her most critically acclaimed song) out of the 3 big categories, really surprised. Great news cos they included Bruno in those categories despite his song being as old as Rihanna´s, so they got it right in this case, talent is the important thing.
Also… REALLY surprised Justin Timberlake is not in any of these 3 big categories. Wow grammys went there honey lol I´m glad. The album had quality but they don´t have to award just cos of success or popularity, so yeah, good decision.
Now there´s this Katy girl nominated in one of those 3 categories for a very basic song, well, there´s always things like this. She won´t win anyway.
Taylor Swift doesn´t deserve any award in general, she´s too basic. Hope they don´t give it to her, those would be 2 Album of the Year in her career, and I doubt any real legend has more than one.
The big surprise and disappointemnt is Janelle Monae´s album not having any important nomination. Like that´s the best album of the year and she´s so obviously talented. Something weird, they probably don´t like her for some reason.
Also surprising Ariana Grande didn´t get nominated for Best new Artist. So on point, she doesn´t deserve it at all. The music is basic as hell, and her vocals, despite being good, are too inspired by you know who. I´ve always said it, she won´t last. Better ones tried it but faded after a couple of years.
So on point trash like Milye didn´t make it either.
Finally, why is anybody naming Mariah or Gaga??? Like they only had one song out this year, give me a break.

  151. Marcel December 7, 2013

I get it… I wish some of my favs were nominated but oh well…

the fact that people coming for Nicki like she ain’t doing s***..um even if she don’t got grammy nominations what that mean alot of people who should don’t. Nicki still doing way more then most people in the industry today. she is one of the to people in the industry today so if you don’t respect that then no one gives af. if she asf irrelevant ass u say y do y’all stay taking about her? just asking. money fans and numbers don’t lie..awards are just a material thing and everybody dosent appreciate rap so…yea just saying
