‘Trouble’ vocalist Leona Lewis has set a new chart record this month, doing so with her brand new Christmas single, ‘One More Sleep.’

How?

Festive chart fun below…

After rising to #3 on the UK’s Official Charts, the cut became her eight Top five hit in the market. In doing this, she can now boast of having more Top five entries than any other British female in UK chart history.

Pulled from her brand new Christmas LP, ‘Christmas, With Love‘, the single now sees her surpass efforts made by Shirley Bassey, Cilla Black and Spice Girls‘ belle Geri Halliwell, who all have six solo Top five’s to their name!

Really happy that she is back doing well!!!

I wonder if she will chart in the US seeing as she has some promo appearances coming up.

She’s performing on the X Factor US tonight with an act that’s been sending their songs to number 1 so we may very well see her at number 1 (at least top 10) on US iTunes tonight with their duet.

Glad to see her get her feet wet on both sides of the pond again.
Shame about the poor single choices last album but she can sing very well technically and the next album I expect her to dig deep

Nowadays people find breakable records everywhere. Tired of that, singles charts are laughable now so they don´t mean anything.
Happy for Leona though. Her Xmas album was being ignored at first. And I said from the first time I listened to this song that it was the best new Xmas song released this year.

That is so embarrassing for us in the UK…Cilla Black and Geri Halliwell…and now Leona has walked away with the title…dear God help us.

I remember how devastated I was when I was younger when Gerri left the Spice Girls
