Promo shy Pop star Britney Spears finally seems to realize she has a new album in stores and has aptly hit the TV circuit in support of it.
The former stage blazer stopped by The Ellen Show this week to plug the LP, which is preceded by singles ‘Work B*tch’ and ‘Perfume’.
Naturally not performing, the 32-year-old instead sat down to dish on the album as well as her new boyfriend. Any guesses as to which topic she seemed most excited about? Find out after the jump…
How incredibly awkward. The irony is that when later quizzed on her love life, Spears was visibly more enthused. A fact which lends support to our stance that she’d be better off taking a leave of absence from the spotlight to live and enjoy life, as well as to rediscover her passion and talent. Because this Robo-Britney we’ve been subjected to in recent years is tarnishing an otherwise infallible Pop star.

She is still going to sell “well” for not promoting with performances and for not having strong singles in Work B*tch and Perfume, but it won’t be an insanely large number that she should be serving. That being said, it will demolish certain artists who shall remain nameless but one in particular who took over 106&Park for an entire week performing plus other shows, and produce a number that certain acts can only dream of and thus those stans need to check their lipstick before they come for Britney.
All that aside, how I long for the day if/when Britney can return full force and smash her promo performances and give us choreography for days that would leave us wowed and her Vegas shows would be packed – she is capable but needs whipped into shape in terms of performances and needs to drop Will.i.Am.Not.Relevant.
