Watch: Tamar Braxton Performs ‘Silent Night’ On ‘The Queen Latifah Show’

tamar braxton she is diva that grape juice 2013 Watch: Tamar Braxton Performs Silent Night On The Queen Latifah Show

She’s the R&B trendsetter with the voice of angel.

Who we’re referring to? Tamar Braxton of course, the ‘Love & War’ chart-topper responsible for the smash hit single of the same name and a year in music that’s been fruitful on a variety of fronts.

Fortunately for the ‘Queen Latifah Show’, it was that angelic voice that came to join its Christmas celebrations hours ago, when the star took to its stage to perform Franz Xaver Gruber‘s ‘Silent Night.’

Are you guys deaf? That was horrible. She was doing the most! Sharp, pitchy and too many poorly placed and executed runs. She ruined a holiday classic.

Anyone who says something bad, please let your comment be followed by a video of you singing. If not, go f*** yourself and be successful at that.

She did GREAT! She is displaying range and an attempt to sing it like the CD that many of our singers in general lack. DOn’t make me name drop who can’t even get THIS close!

^^ I don’t understand the logic. So you’re saying in order to know if someone sounds good or not, one must be able to sing themselves? That’s bull. This performance was cringe-worthy. She was all over the place. Her notes were sharp, her breathing was horrible, she looked like a deer in headlights and she did too many runs (they weren’t good runs either). She needs a vocal coach and stage presence ASAP. I see the guy TC (Brandy stan) who writes a lot of her music is pumping her head up with all of these runs. You are not Brandy or Kim Burrell girl, keep it cute. I haven’t seen ONE live performance from Tamar that I’ve liked. She’s a doo-wop/studio singer all the way.

–__– I will never understand the hype, period. The runs were not cute and all over the place, she was pitchy….Whatever, you have one in this world who think Britney is a vocal God so people staining for this mess isn’t too far fetch..

Her christmas album is top notch. The kids have shaded her vocals alot lately. We all know what she can do that’s the only reason I let her slide…for now.

I could listen to her all day long- this was a wonderful and original rendition of an all time classic. People are very negative and hurtful. Her voice is a national treasure – only a few can sing like Tamar. Other communities don’t treat their talents like how we treat ours. We love to tear down people- rather than uplift. Her voice is beautiful it trend send r&b- lets uplift and not seek to destroy. Congratulations to Tamara Braxton 3 Grammy nominations well deserved!

Im sorry but again she watched too many many Beyoncé’s live performances. Everytime i have this feeling that she tries to channel her inner Beyoncé. When i first watched her Soul Train Awards, i thought her eyes were opened wide because she was sick, but even here she has that weird look, i guess she trying to be s*xy while singing but it ain’t working Tamar ! stick up with straight singing please

She claimed for years to be the baddest singing underrated artist in the game but now with every opportunity she gets …… It’s a miss . Too many embellishments and at the wrong places in the song structure. Also runs should end in the key of the song u are singing. Vocally not all that good. She need to tighten up
