As earlier reported, Jessie J is hard at work on her new album.

Having departed Robin Thicke’s US tour so as to focus on recording, the vocal powerhouse is conjuring up new tunes in LA for the Stateside version of her sophomore LP – ‘Alive’.

Released in the UK last Fall,  J recently told That Grape Juice that the American incarnation of the album will boast an all-new sound.

Taking to Instagram this weekend, she offered the first preview to fans. Listen below…

We like. A lot. And can’t wait to hear more.

On a relatively random note, though, we’d much prefer she lays ‘Alive’ to rest and comes swinging with a new album entirely. That way, the LP would be able to dub as her US sophomore effort and UK third album.

Her vocals in the snippet sound really great though! I want to hear the full version

Im so glad she’s taking the R&B road now, She just needs to commit to it completely though. Thats what will set her apart from her pop/RnB peers.

Her last few singles were incredibly generic. I prefer her subdued voice. She does too much at times but this song sounds promising.

Why do British acts have to come up with this Stateside version? When music is good, it’s universal. And she’s a flop now.

I’m liking what I’m hearing. Her last few releases weren’t my cup of tea. Her first album was GREAT tho.

When new parents are just getting started with buying clothing for their baby that is organic, they may
want to speak with their pediatrician. Shopping for babies’ clothes
is always an exciting time for mothers, especially first-time moms.
Such worries are not here anymore because funky baby clothes these
days pass through highest standard of quality so that what you buy looks good
    and lasts long.

Actually what you term as “good” music wouldn’t be what someone would believe to be “good” in a different country. British acts have to come up with US versions of their music because Americans have different tastes in music to British people and what sells well in Britain might not sell as well in America. Different countries are influenced by different music therefore you can’t say that if music is “good” it’s “universal” because every country is different.
