@RoseGold I dont know what you’re talking about when you said Tamar said Toni is washed up. maybe I missed whe she said that, but Tamar has always credited her sister. On the Breakfast Club interview she even admitted her sister was an Icon and said that she could never reach Toni’s success, those were her words. so yes she does credit her sister.

There’s no denying that she can sing, but let’s not act like she’s whitney or sum s***. The performance was just “ok”. Her voice is too short and her vocal range is a lil cut off, cause it looks like she was struggling a bit to hit those notes.
So i just watched the performance.. That was the best live rendition I have heard from her. I really think that blood vessel issue was messing her up cuz this was pretty good!

She busted two blood vessels in her vocal chords didnt let them heal had 2 go on tour wouldnt cancel.. still had performances and still not properly headed. Is she 100% no…. can she sing hell yeah! Yall haters can say what u want. But instead of hating how about u step yo game up 2 be be better! She won!

I now Tamar can sing but why do she keep lip syncing? She did not sing this song live. Glad to see she wasn’t doing all that horrible movements. Tamar stop with all these lip syncing performance and sing live.

Its official….tamar b. never sounds good live. You could find 20 covers of this song on youtube that sound much better. Im not hating, I like Tamar her voice is amazing…. On the record. Its sad really.
Positives: She sure does bring home that song WELL..
Girl can sang when she’s on the money
Negative: Her choices with intonation and ad-libs in parts of song make it just under what I’d personally like.
For me it’s just minor details but she did good this one. Still would like a little less of hair throws and simplify the arrangement to more or less like the actual track. Once she does that her superb tone will shine even more.
How many of you haters can sing? Have u ever busted something in your vocal chords??? No… then stfu….her voice is healing. … and when it gets back to 100% then what r u haters gonna say! Worry about your own career!
