Ever eager to use her star power to empower those less fortunate than herself, Beyonce continues on in her efforts to do so this year- this time, with the help of the Prince of Wales, Prince Charles.

Details below…

How the pair are gearing up to empower the UK’s youth? The answer to that question, lying in a press release signed, sealed and delivered by the star’s camp this morning, now available to read below:

“The superstar and Prince’s Trust ambassador’s #BeyGood campaign, which encourages people to be kind, be charitable and #BeyGood to each other and their communities, will raise vital funds for The Prince’s Trust on the UK tour dates of the Mrs Carter Show World Tour.”

“Beyoncé said: “As a young child I was blessed to have the support of my family who encouraged me to reach for my goals.  So many young people don’t have this.  I am honored to partner the #BeyGood campaign with The Prince’s Trust to help young people beat the odds and create better lives for themselves.”

“Fans wanting to be part of the #BeyGood movement are encouraged to make a £3 text or online donation to the youth charity to help disadvantaged young people across the UK into jobs at a time when one in five (20 per cent) are struggling to find work.”

“Concert ticket holders who make a donation or wear a #BeyGood t-shirt will be given an official #BeyGood sticker at The Prince’s Trust donation site situated in the venue. They will then be given the chance to be randomly selected for a seat upgrade to an exclusive VIP area near the front of the stage.”

“Martina Milburn, Chief Executive of The Prince’s Trust, added: “We are very proud that Beyoncé has partnered with The Prince’s Trust through her #BeyGood campaign. As a longstanding ambassador of our charity, Beyoncé understands that, every day in the UK, young people are facing not only unemployment but also the devastating effects of homelessness, addiction, poverty, bullying and poor mental health. All of these hardships can leave them feeling that life isn’t worth living. It is up to us to help them get their lives back on track and the funds raised through the #BeyGood campaign will help us to do that.”

“A limited number of #BeyGood t-shirts will be available to buy at The Prince’s Trust Tomorrow’s Store in Liverpool Street. Fans can also bring used items of clothing to a donation site at each venue in return for a #BeyGood sticker, and these will be distributed to those in need.”

“To join Beyoncé in support of The Prince’s Trust, go to: www.princes-trust.org.uk/beygood where donations can be made online or text donate £3 by texting BEYGOOD to 70660.”

“Founded by HRH The Prince of Wales in 1976, youth charity The Prince’s Trust helps change young lives. It supports 13 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed and those struggling at school and at risk of exclusion. Many of the young people helped by The Prince’s Trust are in or leaving care, facing issues such as homelessness or mental health problems, or they have been in trouble with the law.”

“The Prince’s Trust Tomorrow’s Store is is entirely stocked by young entrepreneurs who have set up in business with support from The Trust.”

Good look… I wonder why the #BeyGood movement and other artist charity work doesn’t get coverage. They will drag an artist for doing something bad, but rarely talk about the good (if any) that they do.
