It may have gotten off to a slow start, but John Legend‘s ‘All of Me‘ is now on its way to proving that very little can get in the way of good music.
Released on August 12th 2013, the love song’s recent Grammy appearance has now flung it to the arms of the general public, who are now pushing the song to heights it should have reached upon release, but is on course to arrive at months later.

Peaking at #15 on the Billboard Hot 100, the last week has seen the cut top the Urban Adult Contemporary chart, doing so after reaching an audience of 11.354 million listeners. Impressive, as it did so in its 26th week on the tally, outperforming efforts made by Beyonce, Justin Timberlake and R&B trendsetter Tamar Braxton.
Elsewhere, the aforementioned Beyonce sees her latest self-titled studio set spend its 10th week in the UK Top 5 this week, coming in at #4 as its global sales continue to sail towards the 3 million mark, and its lead single ‘Drunk in Love’ surfs towards the 200,000 US units sold milestone.
Why so low?
Well, with consumers opting to buy the album in full, the star’s campaign has seen all attention placed on shifting the LP and not its singles, seeing digital streams force the cut to #2 on the Billboard Hot 100!
