Pop megastar Beyonce may have spent the last month crossing borders on her ‘Mrs.Carter Show’ world tour, but it would seem her self-titled new album has no intentions of leaving the spot it currently resides in.

With 71. 44% of this week’s US album sales figures in, Beyonce‘s self-titled studio set is now guaranteed a spot in the Top Twenty this week, with 13,329 units sold thus far.
Representing on a percentage of what its final weekly sales figure will be once the final chart rolls in, her sales now place her at #13, while Katy Perry sits at #16 with 11,613 new copies of her new LP ‘Prism’ sold.
Quite interestingly, despite the media coverage she scored by way of her new video, ‘G.U.Y’ and her ‘controversial’ set at ‘SXSW’, Lady GaGa‘s ‘ARTPOP‘ us unlikely to impact the Top 40 with less than 3,000 copies sold thus far.
Interesting, as it now finds itself being outperformed by Drake‘s ‘Nothing Was the Same’, (3,720), and Jhene Aiko‘s ‘Sail Out‘ EP which is likely to move over 7,000 units by the time this week’s final figures are published.
Then, in what may shock many a sales-spotter, John Legend’s new album ‘Love in the Future’ continues to sneak up on the Gold mark, after last week saw it reach US sales of 378,000 units!
Impressive, as global sales of the LP continue to rise thanks to the renewed interest in his single ‘All of Me‘, which now winks at the 2 million units sold milestone with sales of 1,880,769 copies!

You must not go out much if you think Drunk In Love aint a hit. It gets played everywhere in the clubs, getting heavy radio spins, is platinum and went to #2 on the charts. That’s not easy to do with such a hard sounding urban song. But it has catchy lyrics that everyone loves. It was definitely a hit stop being delusional.
