New Song: Tank – ‘You’re My Star’

Despite an impressive Billboard debut with their inaugural joint album ‘Three Kings’ and a Grammy nod, R&B crooners TGT (Tank, Ginuwine, Tyrese) have been plagued with ongoing breakup rumors since their trouble union began.

What certainly won’t do much to cool those rumors is the premiere of Tank’s new solo single ‘You’re My Star’. Reportedly the first single from his sixth studio album ‘Stronger’ (due later this year), the tune surfaced online today as the ‘One Man’ maestro continues (by his lonesome) to serve as the opening act for fellow R&B crooner Jamie Foxx on a Stateside tour.

Does this signal the end of TGT?  Either way, get into Tank’s new solo tune below and tell us what you think:

They’re all better solo anyway. TGT seemed like a nice idea, but something about it just doesn’t splice. When soloists get together to form “super groups,” there’s usually something off about it.

    Decent song.

@navy nick, what do you mean “TGT didnt work”?… Their album topped the charts and they got a grammy nom. Sounds like a great start to me.
