Has it really been 20 years since then-teen sensation Brandy released the remix to her hit inaugural single ‘I Wanna Be Down?’

Yes, despite the songstress and the song’s co-stars Yo-Yo, MC Lyte, and Queen Latifah looking better than ever, there have indeed been two decades to pass since the smash song bore a remix with the day’s leading female rappers.

Reuniting on Queen’s top rated talk show, the diva shared news on her role on BET’s ‘The Game,’ developing her own sitcom, plans for new music, movies, and tours this year, and even teased a ‘I Wanna Be Down’ (remix) live performance.

    SLAY A BIT BRANDY!

I WOULDNT MIND SEEING YOU ON TOUR THIS YEAR!

AND I NEED NEW MUSIC FROM YOU LIKE, TOMORROW!

I WAS IN LOVE WTH “TWO ELEVEN”

    • Molly April 9, 2014

She’s so much better then Kelly Horseland.

      • Realest April 9, 2014

Why you pressed about Kelly? Brandy is better than Kelly but they both are far more musically talented (vocals, arrangements, harmonizing/layering, live vocals) than Ciara so I don’t understand why the hate? Anyway yes 2/11 was the bomb!

      • Molly April 9, 2014

But Ciara doesn’t sound a pitchy mess like Horseland does.

      • Realest April 9, 2014

Because There is no pitch in whispering hunBun.. Kelly can do things with her voice (like PROPERLY tribute mariah carey) that Ciara will never, ever, ever do. So shading Kelly with Brandy is cute but Kelly is a far superior singer than Ciara even at her best – no shade. Cause I love Cici too but sorry- uh uh.

Finally more REAL music from another REAL singer! Yes B.Rocka, so ready for this! I would love if she did a song with Beyonce, it would be so hot or at least a remix!!! Something sultry with maybe a lol edge and an r&b flare with vocals on the forefront !!! So excited for a new brandy album!

I looooovvveeee how Brandy blends her sweet upbeat personality with that ego of “you know I got it”.

She got them together after she slayed MJ without even trying lol.

Sometimes acts OTT but she is great and a beast at what she does.
    Woooo new album

<3 her! It would be so incredible to get a new Brandy album this year. That's 2/4 of favs back to back and another reason to visit Itunes (which doesn't happen often these days). I love Bran on The Game!!! She's doing a wonderful job. I just wish her continued success! She's a positive person and it feels great to see her making all these moves.

I didn’t exactly grow up on Brandy. Well, I do remember watching Cinderella when it first came out and also hearing The Boy is Mine back in the day. However, as I’ve gotten older, I’ve delved into her discography and it was such a great musical journey! Her catalog is so rich and full of timeless songs. Never Say Never and Afrodisiac are my favs! 2/11 was a step up from Human so I’m definitely looking forward to new music from this R&B icon.
