Following in the footsteps of ‘A New Day Has Come‘ icon Celine Dion and ‘Radar’ performer Britney Spears, 90s Pop group the Spice Girls are reportedly plotting their latest come back this year, setting their sights on a Las Vegas residency!

Details on their reported venture below…

Set for takeoff in 2015, the group’s reported comeback plans have seen them meet with ‘Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino’s entertainment division, joining the company to build a Vegas based show, designed to celebrate their hit-heavy discography and impact on Pop culture during their initial 6 year run at the top.

Expected to return without ‘This Groove’ group member Victoria Beckham, the ladies’ return to the stage would come 21 years after their 1994 debut, and three years after they stormed the 2012 Summer Olympics Closing Ceremony with a medley of the Matt Rowe-produced singles ‘Wannabe’ and ‘Spice Up Your Life.’

This is a great idea!!! I would definitely go see them. Girl Power!!! Posh will be back when her fashion adventure fails and David Beckham tells her she can’t spend no more of his money.

LOL They were never talented enough to last more than 5 years or have their own solo careers. Yes it was a huge phenomenon. I know because I lived it, but it should stay in the past or just remember it as a cute thing that happened when one was a kid-t***.
I see this working on a small scale though. People would go there to remember their childhood 🙂

They won’t sell out their shows like Queen Britney and Queen Celine. In other news Britneys third leg has sold out

They are so overrated! One of the most overrated groups of ALL TIME. I hated that bubble Gum pop era! Thank God Its OVER!

GOOD for Geri, Emma, Melanie C, Mel B!!

They honestly do not need Victoria Beckham. All she was in the group was a pretty face TBH. I say push ahead. They can afford to lose her more than Geri IMO, too bad she wasn’t the departed member the time before around 2000.

They should make Victoria feel even less of a singer and release an album with out her. Posh is fine with her Beckhams and fashion. Leave her be.

The group is not complete – even without her.

Melanie C was the only member of the group that was widely regarded to have genuine, natural vocal talent.

But regardless, each member had their own personality and came with their own mini-fanbase. They weren’t like Ms Ross & The Supremes and Bey with LaTavia, Farrah and co; they weren’t easily replaceable nor forgettable. Hence the dip in sales when Geri left, even though her vocal ability was questionable to say the very least.

    Britney’s show is everything!
But i need to see this if it’s happening 🙂
    Cheers*
