X Factor UK stars Rough Copy rocked the ITV show with their unique brand of Urban-Pop last year. Now, the trio will be hoping to make a similar impact on the charts; for, it has been announced that the group have inked a lucrative deal with Epic Records.

What’s more, a stream of their first single ‘Street Love’ accompanied London-bred group’s good news.

Details and the song await below…

A re-working of Anita Baker‘s classic,‘Sweet Love’, the track features the band’s own verses. Production comes courtesy of  the Beatfreakz – who have helmed hits from the likes of Usher and Jason Derulo.

Speaking on their new deal and debut single, Rough Copy said:

“Being signed to Epic makes everything worthwhile; all the hard work, all the grafting and difficult times makes this a magical and memorable moment that will live with us for years to come.  We can finally take off the X-Factor training wheels and enter the big industry.

Along with being signed to a huge major label, we are also excited and happy to announce that we will be releasing our first official single ‘Street Love’. We can’t wait to hit stages everywhere and deliver performances to be remembered!!! How Epic is that?!”

Is the song any good, though? You be the judge below…

‘Street Love’ hits iTunes on June 29th.
