Tonight saw Danity Kane kick off their long-awaited ‘No Filter Tour’ at The Filmore in San Francisco.
Yet, for one of the group’s members, this evening was the start of a new chapter – one without DK.
For, after months of speculation, it has been confirmed — Aundrea Fimbres is leaving the Platinum selling quad.
Watch the dramatic moment she announced her departure on stage below, where the reason for her leaving also awaits…
Fimbres revealed that she is expecting her first child with her fiance and sourced that as the reason for waving goodbye to the group after their first date.
She is expected to finish the tour, but won’t be performing new material with her soon-to-be-former group mates.
Congratulations to Aundrea. Happiness away from the spotlight often helps facilitate happiness while under it, hence kudos to her for prioritising her personal life.
Needless to say, it’ll be interesting to see how DK proceed as a trio.
Aundrea will be missed i hope it’s just a hiatus. But after seeing them perform lemonade i feel like they are gonna come back stronger. DK fan for life!

I can’t believe her for committing to a REUNION, and then this mess. Regardless its a terrible look for the DK3 brand. Ugh. I wis hehe least could commit to this comeback album/era and then do her own thing.
But yes seems very flake-y IMO too. It really upsets me bc DK fans loved Aundrea for her vocals she brought to DK. I was also looking for to the Latin influence on their new music. Now I guess just Country, R&B, and Pop/Dance. Hmmmm. Damn you Drea. ugh.
