She may have rocked the Billboard Music Awards this weekend with her hit “Fancy,” but tonight’s performance by chart-topping rapstress Iggy Azalea was rocked by a slew of technical difficulties.
With playback speed difference and claims of “ear monitor malfunction,” Iggy’s showing started off awkwardly to say the least. But, being the burgeoning pro that she is, the “Bounce” beauty seemed to bounce back rather quickly to offer a polished finish.
Taking to Twitter to offer apologies, Azalea stated:

I think this her best performance of Fancy, technical issues put aside. The stage setting and theme was a nice change up from the cheerleaders at the BBMA. Iggy is a solid performer, especially for a rapper. Its really rare to see a rapper who can actually put on an entertaining set.
I can’t dislike this girl! I do think of those old tweets every time I see her now, but I want to give her the benefit of doubt. I could be wrong, but I just don’t get racist from her.
Anyway, she did a great job! I really like Fancy! Iggy’s going places! She’s everywhere right now!
