Explaining the publication’s reasoning for choosing Perry over her Pop contemporaries, editor in chief Joanna Coles stated:
“Katy’s music and attitude have universal appeal to young women everywhere.”
Pretty accurate, when one considers the 2,931,000 units sold sold by the aforementioned LP since October 18th 2013!

The name of Madonna has been in front of the news for more than 30 years, standing by itself, you have clearly developed a dislike for her over the past few months, whatever are your reasons, think about her career and the things she has done, just to make sure that your reasons are not biased towards her.

I’m not a fan of her music but her attitude makes her more likeable than others Pop stars, she doesn’t annoys me despite the fact that her music is very banal, at least she’s not pretentious, there’s nothing more annoying than a Pop star pretending that they’re music is some classical masterpiece, it’s Pop music, a genre that is only getting worse with time.
She is pretentious tho just look at her music videos.
