While chart positions and single sales see some entertainers hailed “legends” and “icons”, fans of ‘Brown Eyes‘ singer Lady GaGa will agree that it’s her talent and tenacity that earned her any moniker she’s scored since her debut in 2008.
That being said, one can’t deny that 2011 marked the start of a confusing period for the entertainer, kicked off by the release of the poorly received ‘Born This Way‘, whose success in its first few weeks of release may be attributed to the success of its predecessor ‘The Fame Monster’…and not its own material.
Fortunately, while a commercial dip would mark a disaster for her closest rivals, GaGa now stands just a few right moves away from reclaiming the support of the general public, some of whom had the pleasure of meeting the star when she made a surprise appearance at the ‘Frank Sinatra School of the Arts’ hours ago.
However, it would the ‘Pokerface‘ singer wasn’t the only one with a trick up her sleeve. For, unbeknownst to her, one of the school’s students snuck into its auditorium and secretly filmed the singer during what appears to be a rehearsal with her pianist.

I love Gaga as a musician BUT why did TGJ exaggerate again? It´s just a 31sec-video with her singing very softly. We´ve seen Gaga sing a lot better than this thousands of times.
PS: Still can´t believe the predictions for JLo´s album. Sure she has not sell over 100,000 since 2005 (or more) but she´s doing BIG promo and was on American Idol this year too. It´s like a non factor as a music star at this point.
TGJ is so lame. They had hundreds of articles about Mariah sales predictions and yet not a peep out of them about JLO. If you gonna go in. I say do it but don’t have selective memory. What applies to one should apply to all to keep this blog credible.
Maybe because the LAMES were on here day in and night out bragging about sales. J.Lo is a Hollywood Icon, MC is a musical Legend, J.Lo been flopping for the past 10 years, MC is one of the last artist to have a on the top running career for 10 years straight, prob had THE biggest comeback in music history in 2005. So for her to sell that low after 24 years of being on top was news Vs J.Lo another day, another flopping album.
Both are well taken care of, had success in their own right. So it’s clear that they do this because they want to and love it, vs they HAVE to like Gaga and Ciara (crashing at the 5 years mark and still have to fulfill their contracts.)

TGJ stop trying it. The GP is over her and her shock tactics. She should’ve ditched them after The Fame Monster or at least after Born this Way and established herself ad a credible act but its too late now. The general public gets bored with these shock tactic artist much more quickly. Gaga at least had a solid 4 years. Nicki only made it 2 years and poor Miley couldn’t even keep the attention for 9 months 🙁 People prefer real artists or pop stars who know their lane like Katy and Rihanna.

Gaga stripped down is really something else, much better than that in your face gaga. i hope with her next album, she cuts down on all the shock tactics and “in your face”-ness and let her voice and talent do the work. she has e talent but she is killing it with all the nonsense she does/say
