The song is somewhat catchy and it’s quite apparent The Dream penned the song, however, it’s not a good fit for Nicole’s voice. People say she doesn’t have “IT”, but in terms of marketability and abilities, she does have “IT”, but I think people have a hard time connecting to her as a solo artist. Beautiful woman with a solid voice and she has tried every genre under the sun, but to no avail. People just aren’t interested. Maybe she has bad karma or something, but on the surface, it doesn’t make sense that she did so well in PCD, but can’t even get a successful solo album out.
