With Mariah Carey‘s current commercial woes placing her at the bottom of Pop’s pecking order, it’ll be interesting to see how the next year plays out for Leona, especially now that- like Mariah– she bid adieu to ‘Sony’ and made nice with its rival, ‘Universal.’
Indeed, hopefully in learning from her inspiration’s mistakes, Lewis spends the next year building a sound that music lovers find interesting, endearing and relatable…traits Carey’s latest campaign saw her lack in earnest.

What happened to her last album?
TGJ keeps shading Mariah, but not one of these Mariah wannabes have successfully succeeded in dethroning Mariah.
