As global sales of her latest LP ‘Talk a Good Game’ creep towards the 250,000 units mark, Kelly Rowland fares far better on ‘VEVO‘ with the project’s supporting music videos.
For, 11 months into its run, her video for single ‘Dirty Laundry’ washes its hand of the 8 million views worldwide mark to find a friend in 9 million.
9,367,930 to be exact.
However, it stands as no match for its saucier pal ‘Kisses Down Low’ which plants a wet one on 19 million views, after scoring her 23,421 new subscriptions to her page on the outlet!
As if that wasn’t enough to put a smile on the Grammy winner’s face, she’ll no doubt pleased to learn that music lovers across the globe have spent a total of 109 years watching the visual!
This, calculated by adding the number of minutes that all of its viewers spent watching the clip.
So,just how many hours have Kelly’s supporters dedicated to supporting the visual?

As their ‘X Factor UK’ sibling Aston Merrygold eyes a Justin Timberlake-sized solo career, Rough Copy swing onto the ‘The Scene’ with their debut single, ‘Street Love.‘
Sampling Anita Baker‘s Powell-produced ‘Sweet Love’, ‘Street’s official video enjoys a slow but steady journey to impressive ground this week, reaching the 231,805 views mark since May 12th 2014.
Lifted from the ‘Epic‘-records backed debut LP, the single’s video has been watched for a total of 9,288 hours and been shared 598 times.
Though marking a modest start for the trio, the clip has welcomed 4,317 ‘likes’ since its unveiling, outweighing the 197 ‘dislikes’ its garnered, driving 972 new subscriptions to their official page as they gear up for the launch of its follow-up.
A follow-up, we hope does more more to showcase the group’s world class talent and commercial viability.
4,000 views away from the 60 million mark comes Beyonce‘s ‘Video Phone’, bumping and grinding to higher ground with the help of its remix collaborator Lady GaGa and director Hype Williams.
Released on November 17th 2009, the video marked the first two of collaborations between ‘Yonce and her ‘Telephone’ sister, who joined her in watching it cross the 40 million views barrier in the January of 2014 and arrive at 56,001,339 views by June’s end.
Elsewhere, 2008’s ‘Diva’ eyes US sales of 2 million units while its ‘VEVO‘ views twerk to the tune of 76.6 million, sticking one up at the 5o milestone in January and garnering 26.6 million fresh spins between then and now.
Last, but certainly not least comes TGJ favourite Keri Hilson!
Though making the mistake of waiting too long to deliver a new album, her existing material continues to make sizeable gains with each passing week!
Indeed, with 83,858 ‘likes’ to its name, Hilson’s ‘Lose Control‘ visual “shakes, whines and rolls” all over the 25 million views mark after being shared 92,477 times across the net.
Quite interestingly, though released as part of Warner Bros’ ‘Zweiohrküken’ and never scoring a US release in 2009, the singer’s ‘I Like’ has pulled in 4,736,341 ‘VEVO’ spins in 2014, bringing its combined total to 24,736,341, while the Kanye West-assisted piece ‘Knock You Down’ casts a digital shadow on all of the above with 103 million views nabbed since October 5th 2009!

UV has been getting horrible reviews tho Rosie in regards to Lana’s stance on feminism and what the album represents. It seems as if she hasn’t learned anything and is the same weak, alcoholic h**.
Ultraviolence has a 75 in Metacritic (and would actually be at around a 79/80 if that troll review from the 405 wasn’t counted). That’s a massive improvement from her first album. Most of the reviews actually praised her writing, many who gave negative reviews to UV (like Pitchfork) noted her improvement on that. Don’t know what reviews you’re looking at other than that 405 one from a “critic” who spews hate about her for no reason on Twitter on a regular basis or that pressed ass “feature” post from Tiny Mix Tapes (who hates everyone semi-known or signed to a major label).
