Mariah Carey has been maintaining a relatively low profile of late. Indeed, in the weeks and months that have passed since new album ‘Me. I Am…Mariah. The Elusive Chanteuse’ bombed on the charts, the diva has largely shunned the limelight.
However, it appears the legendary songbird hasn’t been idle with her time and is cooking up new music already.

Interestingly, the pic was posted in the last week of July – two months after ‘Me. I Am…Mariah’ arrived (and vanished) on the charts.
As most seasoned Mimi followers will note, Big Jim Wright has produced on many Mariah record – dating back as far 1999’s ‘Rainbow’ right through to her latest LP.
Could they be cooking up more magic ala the flawless ‘Fly Like A Bird’ and ‘Camouflage’? Who knows. We sure hope so, though.
It’d be a smart move on Mariah’s side to keep the momentum going, regardless of her recent sales. And it’s seeming as if that’s what she’s doing, in light of management changes and newly announced tour.
A new album, shepherded by a new team, next year, could be just what the comeback DR ordered.
