This morning, the world learned that G.R.L singer Simone Battle had died, found by her father at her Los Angeles home one week after the death of Ladies Code group member EunB.
Now, hours removed from her passing, more details have emerged on the unfortunate matter, with TMZ reporting that the 25 year old star may have committed suicide.

The L.A. County Cororner’s Office tells us Battle’s autopsy has not been completed yet … so, nothing has been ruled out as cause of death.
Simone’s father told us she was found in the bedroom of her apartment in a West Hollywood neighborhood. He described her home as a guest house of a larger residence.Law enforcement sources tell TMZ Simone’s death appears to be a suicide. She was found hanging on a rod in the closet of her bedroom around 8:30 AM on Friday.
I miss Simone so much. I never met her, but her personality was beautifully outgoing and drive. She will be missed and I send my condolensces. love you forever.

This is so sad. Just a few weeks ago one of my friends introduced me to GRL’s music and we watched a couple of their videos. I thought they were so dope. They are all talented and have so much potential and Simone honestly stood out to me the most.
Heartbreaking.
How sad to be at a point in life when you tie something around your neck and prepare to hang yourself.
Depression is real, it happens to those we’d consider successful without a care in the world. People have to try and care for their mental health.
