‘Reclassified’, the re-release of Iggy Azalea‘s debut album ‘The New Classic’, hasn’t even hit stores yet. However, the rapper is already making plans for its follow-up.

Full story below…

When quizzed by a fan today about whether she’d be promoting ‘Reclassified’ abroad, the 23-year-old chart topper paired her answer with news on her sophomore effort:

***************

Given the “go, go, go” approach to pushing Azalea, it’s hardly surprising that current plans have her on-course to deliver a new project within a year. Beyond not having the masses on “lock” just yet (see: lack of Gold plaque for debut), there’s far too much opportunity at her beck and call to not have fresh music to mobilize her booming brand.

Naturally, this could create issues of quality control ala Rihanna. But with the latter having carved out a ten year career following this exact model, there’s no reason why Iggy can’t be successful doing the same.

I really like iggy and some of her singles are good but I don’t see her as an album seller. She doesn’t have that “OMG I have to buy that new iggy album” I hope her 2015 album is good with less features!

I like Iggy. With hat being said, her next album will be a make it or break it. She needs to bring the fire even harder next time around. No Fancy 2.0. That song is hot but explore more territories.

I don’t listen to her music but I have to admit I was catching up on my tv shows and last night I saw her performance on SNL. I actually enjoyed her performance of fancy and then quickly fast forwarded when I saw Rita Whora make an appearance. She isn’t my cup of tea cuz I’m an old fart but i wish her well.

To be honest… i really dont see her having longevity or even achieve half on the success like nicki minaj. By next year she a be irrelevant like Wendy Williams said… Iggy is a seasoned artist meaning she will only be around for 1 to 2 yrs or so…

Shocker. Like I said, she has Rihanna’s old Def Jam network.

Everytime I see her I just wonder what you she would sound like if she dropped that faux Atlanta trap accent. I guess we’re stuck with it now. *sigh*

I’ll never buy anything she puts out but she is an interesting pop artist.

The Pinkprint has reportedly been pushed back to December.

  18. Molly October 27, 2014

  20. ENOUGH ONIKA (NEW & IMPROVED) October 27, 2014

    It’ll flop….

  21. NOLIES October 27, 2014

Unless the record company buys her albums, this b**** will remain a flop. Yea she sold a single or two, but what kind of true artistry does this b**** have? Seriously, all of these “rappers” and their ass shots need to retire and let guys do the rapping, and we women (those that have the ability… bye Rihanna, Katy Perry, Kesha, Keyshia Cole, and etc.) do the singing.

  22. LOL October 28, 2014

She’s just gonna keep pushing out her sh!t until something finally goes Gold, The New Crisis is still on that rusty tin can certification, the re-release sales won’t help the Crisis and this next disaster album will hopefully be the nail in the coffin of her pop career.
