She hasn’t dropped a new album in four years, but thanks to sales generated by her first album ’19’ and its record breaking follow-up ’21’, Pop singer Adele is reportedly pocketing over $127,000 a day!
Details on her reported earnings below…
Newly released accounts obtained by the UK’s The Sun reveal that the singer’s companies (one of these being ‘Melted Stone’) earned $86,115,690 in the 22 months leading up to the December of 2013.
By the end of each day last year, the singer could boast of earning $127,756 (£80,000), and rewarded herself with $5.2 million before the release of her third studio album, reportedly due out next month.

It was the perfect time. Now, as far the music. “Thriller”, “Billie Jean” & “Beat It” even without the visuals were ALL Pop/R&B/Rock masterpieces imo. All HUGE popular songs. All having HUGE iconic videos & producing their own iconic costumes/dance moves.

Having those 3 MONSTER records on 1 album played a huge factor in Thriller becoming the best selling albums ever. That’s like Madonna having “Vogue”, “Like A Prayer” & “Like A Virgin” on 1 album. It would’ve sold like CRAZY! Having 3 POP phenomenons on 1 album is the MAIN factor in Triller selling that much.

But, other than those 3 songs. The album was just a regular (not bad) Pop/R&B LP. But, thanks to Quincy Jones & Rob T. The albums music has aged VERY well. The production sounds fresh. Which to me, is the main reason why Thriller has almost gone DIAMOND again in the Soundscan era.
