Jessie J is ‘Burnin’ Up’ on all sides of the globe, as evidenced by her blazing success with recent single ‘Bang Bang’.
So, with new album ‘Sweet Talker’ in stores this week, the singer stopped by ‘Ellen’ to perform both songs in a high-octane medley.

Solid…even more so given her blink-and-you-miss-it comment about losing her voice.
As a skilled vocalist, it’s clear Jessie is well-versed in how to improvise and it was great to see her take on the verses of ‘Burnin” in a lower register so as to be able to serve up her trademark belting on the chorus.
Good stuff.
She really is a natural performer. Even with a loss of voice she sounds amazing! And Burnin’ Up is low-key creeping up the iTunes chart – it has now moved up to #38 on the overall chart in the USA! Well deserved.
