No one may be running to the stores to buy Nicole Scherzinger‘s new album (‘Big Fat Lie’), but that hasn’t stopped the singer from pressing on with new single ‘Run’.
The track is the third cut to be lifted from the LP in the UK and will reportedly serve as the project’s first US offering.
So as to build much needed buzz, the former Pussycat Doll shared a sneak peek of the song’s video with the folk over at E!

I’ll never understand why Nicole cannot seem to breakthrough. She is so beautiful and has a fantastic voice!! I like her music and think she is very talented. I wonder if it’s her age or what people don’t see that makes her not take-off…?

Apart from almost looking like a Kim K clone, for some reason she strongly reminds me of Ciara. Don’t know why.
I can see the Kim K comparison, but don’t see Ciara in her. I just think she is so much more talented than a lot of artists that are on radio today. I think he music and talent deserve some recognition.

Listening to Nicole’s new album now and I’m pleasantly surprised i think its actually the best work of her career since PCD! I think that at the moment the concentration as been on getting her ready for the USA , which is a big move, the first single did very well. i wish her all the best she’s made a great body of work

Nicole has released countless singles and none of them, apart from “Right There,” have stuck with the US. Why is she still trying? It’s a waste.

Dreary song. No, not enough to “jump start interest.” She needs a Crazy in Love, an Umbrella, a Don’t Cha, an I Kissed a Girl, or a Bad Romance — that instant and undeniable classic hit. She’s at 14:59 and ticking away chance at solo stardom with the subpar material she’s been putting out.
She needs an overly sexualized song and video at this point. Take the Rihanna route and sell p*ssy since everything else has failed :/
I think she took that route already; years ago when she collaborated on a song with T.I.
I think that’s the main reason the GP doesn’t connect with her already. I remember when the Wet video came out and a girlfriend said that the oversexualization made her uncomfortable as Nicole already oozes s** appeal and doesn’t need to give extra.
It made me wonder if that’s how my friend felt then how must other woman feel? She’s basically striking out the core buyers of her music.
What she needs in my opinion is an anthem like ‘I don’t need a man’ or as Casual T pointed out above, a song that has impact.
She needs to release Electric Blue a a single, radio would EAT IT UP!!!!!!!!
