With 30 years of success under her belt, Madonna has undoubtedly mastered the art of longevity. The Pop queen has also established herself as a skilled shade-thrower – just check her receipts.
The alleged latest was printed last night on Instagram and was aimed at Lady GaGa.
As earlier reported, Madge sent social media overdrive when a new leaked song titled ‘Two Steps Behind’ surfaced bearing lyrics that seemed geared at GaGa (who she has publicly labelled “reductive” in the past).
Despite denying the claims, the 56-year-old appears to be back to her tricks.

The thing is that it’s an edited image of a post GaGa made the day prior which many believed was a dig back at Madonna over the lyrics of ‘Two Steps’. Worst still, it’s been tweaked to bear similarity to the cover of Madge’s new album ‘Rebel Heart’. Check out the originals below…

Gaga is taking it a little too serious, as seen in her Howard Stern interview from last year where she said she doesn’t care for Madonna, etc. etc.
I don’t get these newcomers. They say they are so inspired by their supposed “idols” but then when they become successful, they diss them and avoid them any chance they can get.
Gaga needs to note that the same quick way she climbed the charts is the same quickness she’ll experience in her downfall if she doesn’t justify herself and appear more humble. At least to her idol.

Here is what I don’t understand with the way you all think. so, it’s okay for GaGa to jack Madonna looks and sound but it is not okay for Madonna to feel some type of way about it and clap back? They are both adults, so don’t give me the madonna’s older story.
It is the same with Mariah and Ariana. I don’t know anyone that would feel comfortable with another doing everything they did, especially when these artist are legendary for doing what they did.
It´s not the same case imo 🙂 Ariana is absolutely nothing compared to Mariah and it´s just a copy and a puppet at teh same time. Gaga has done many things Madonna has not musically. They have two very different voices too. Gaga is a complete artist as Madonna is (well Gaga has more raw talent but you know what I mean), Arina isn´t and Mariah is. It´s all so different. Starting with Ariana´s smaaaal impact compared to Gaga´s real impact in pop music when she arrived.
I see many similarities between Gaga and Madonna. I can understand to a point why some Madonna fans or Madonna herself have felt her style has been jacked. But that´s it, Gaga is more than just those similarities and she proves again and again how talented she is and a big part of her music and artistry are very different from Madonna´s. I just enjoy music and talent, and 3 of them give it to me, Ariana doesn´t.
I totally agree that gaga has talent but there have been moments when I seen too close for comfort similarities I’m gaga’s image and music that is identical to Madonna. Gaga put her own twist it but it was still a major swagger Jack. You also mentioned GaGa’s impact, but I have to ask, do you honestly believe her impact was stronger than Madonna’s? The real answer is, No. Madonna is one the best selling female artist ever and no matter how talented GaGa is, her impact doesn’t shine a light to what Madonna has done.
As far as Mariah and Arianna, I agree it’s just a copy cat.
