I love Beyonce as a performer and I think she’s grown over the years as a vocalist; however, all of the female artist named will sing Beyonce under the table! All of her vocal inadequacies will be exposed: shrill sounding high range, the lack of maturity im her voice, lack of overall range!!!!
No one said that they couldn’t. Those women are VOCALIST first. Beyonce on the other hand, is a bad ass entertainer who just so happens to know how to sing rather well.
Lack of overall range? Someone who can hit beyond a F#5 note actually has an exceptionally wide range…So what do you mean by that?
Being able to hit an F#5 with resonance is what matters!! I am definitely not disputing the fact that she can reach the note you referenced; however, unlike the Whitneys, Mariahs, and Tamars of the world, Beyonce’s voice tends to lose resonance or power in its upper register. Thus making her voice sound out of place in that range!!!!
Beyonce has a very resonant voice and a good tone. She’s just a good vocal technician PERIOD.
