In July 2012, Azealia Banks delivered the ‘Fantasea‘ mixtape, the Diplo backed mixtape responsible for the Pop fan favourite ‘Luxury.‘
Now, months after the surprise release of her debut album, Banks has revealed that it is to be followed by a double disk project that will serve as the second part to the aforementioned mixtape.

She revealed during a recent radio interview:
Fantasea 2 is coming, oooh, Fantasea 2. So this is what I wanna do with Fantasea 2. I wanna do like a double disk with Fantasea 1, re-record some of the songs and package it up and have a double disk with Fantasea 1 and Fantasea 2. It’s not gonna be deep, deep,deep, dark energy.
The original ‘Fantasea’ boasts 19 cuts on its track list and was released independently, dropping after the unveiling of her ‘1991’ EP which houses the jams ‘212’, ‘Liquorice’ and ‘Van Vogue.’

Same thing I was thinking…she is really talented I mean her fan base in Europe was huge at those festivals and most were white which has me wondering how fan base stands right now with all the controversy bout racial political views in music! I love Fantasea!!! I’m sure part 2 is going to sound great, idk if she’ll sell due to her being so controversial lol but she is talented.

Talent is only half the battle. This industry takes no prisoners, and if Azealia can’t even manage to hold down any friendships or at least go a week without pissing another artist off, then what hope does she stand. As for this double-disc idea *rolls eyes* if it’s a struggle for a well known artist to sell a packaged and promoted LP, why would anyone buy a packaged leaked mixtape with re-recorded songs from her ;/ and she claimed the physical release of BWET was coming on Valentines day.. which is in 4 days :/
