‘On & On’ pretty much sums up Azealia Banks continued Twitter assail against Grammy-winning songstress Erykah Badu.
As we reported here, Banks dispensed a mouthful of not-so-subliminal shade toward the Queen of Neo-Soul’s way for letting fans know she wasn’t exactly a fan. After calling Badu ‘old’ and ‘jealous’ of her music, the singer’s cute response led fans to assume the twosome squashed their Twitter tiff by Valentine’s night.
Well, as tweets shot out as recent as yesterday morning indicated, Azealia didn’t exactly get everything off her chest this weekend.

What’s crazy is, I absolutely love azealia’s album. I love her visuals andI really appreciated that epic interview but everything since then has been way too much. I would like to have a conversation with her. I’m curious if anyone is able to speak logic with her. For one, I’m not sure what age has to do with talent or relevancy (but that’s a question for the ages) and for two, it appears to me that, in many ways, erykahs presence (at least from an aesthetic point of view) paved a bit of a way for azealia.

its clearly not Iggys fault Banks is FLOPPING. Banks gets in her own way just like Iggy said.
If it weren’t for this blog, I wouldn’t know who Azealia Banks was, couldn’t even hum the tune to any of her music, or even name one a song she made. On the other hand, I know exactly who Badu is and can rattle off at least 10 of her songs. Picking fights with someone who is more known/accomplished than you, and who has more fans/respect than her, isn’t how you build a career. Now my impression of Banks, which before was nonexistent, is a negative one. If I ever do hear one of her songs introduced on the radio, my initial reaction would be cynical. She needs to quit. It’s like her music isn’t making her famous enough so she’s resorting to bratty behavior as a cheap trick to recognition.
